I think Mondo Rock is one of the greatest Aussie bands. I grew up with this song; can still sing it word for word.

Reminds me of 1982 science labs p.e and the weird teachers of the 80s. What a decade.

This song is perfect. There is no time, do what you want to do, your life is a one shot deal.

Love that Eric is using an Ibanez Blazer guitar in this video. He is one of Australia's true original Guitar Heroes.

Growing up in the eighties, mondo rock were such a good Australian band. Great arrangements. Perhaps a little underrated.

Summer of 81 and Chemistry are brilliant songs. They should have been hits outside Australia in my opinion, but I don't think the band was promoted in the UK and USA.

Hugely under-rated!

Go Daddy cool. He was the catalyst and God damn what a lead vocalist. Had the moves, had the emotion , had the drive Aussie f#$%ing legend.

Their smoothness belied the toughness of this great Aussie band

Such a great tune...loads of inspiring energy.

That is an all time fave song of mine. The Mondos pumping it out in venues across Australia in the 80's. Great to be in my 20's in the 80's. McCusker and Ross the Boss made a great song writing duo.

Great peice of Australian rock...loved by kiwi guy.

What style! What musical genius. One of the few truly talented bands whose songs were unique and original. The Aussie rock style of the early 80s had its own flavour.

The chemistry is always right with this super underrated Aussie cats.

Brings back memories growing up in Perth in the late 70's and early 80's Holidays on Rotto and down at margret river Feeling nostalgic such along time ago

I remembering going to see Mondo at The Patch Coolangatta 1982 NYE playing this song and back then they would start the song as SAVE THE WHALES SAVE THE WHALES..as they were asked by Greenpeace at the time if they would to get the message out.

I used to go to Tracks at Epping as well, back in the early 90's. Then in 2003 every Friday and Saturday night. Now my son and his mates go there... the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!! :-)

Love the backing vocals in this track. It would have been hard to get them so spot-on with Ross's lead vocal phrasing, I'm guessing. Who is singing that high vocal part, Paul or Eric? Whoever it is they picked a bloody good note. Really adds to the sense of urgency.

Such a class act this Amazing band!! So many hits and what a fab period to be around to enjoy. Are we progressing? Sadly not.
