I just got this guy and the pose i put him in you would want the longer neck peg. great review.

I have the original mondo he man. He is fantastic looking.. my mondo battle cat I preordered back in October of 2022 should be arriving in may also just ordered trap jaw this week and he arrives in January I can’t wait.. these figures only go up in value.. love them..

Few years late to this party but I just took notice to this line of MOTU figs with the introduction of Teela (timed edition preorder) into the 1/6 Mondo line of MOTU. I was looking to add the Mondo 1/6 He Man but thought V2 was the obvious choice man was I wrong. Based on your very in depth review which is excellent by the way, I would rather try to get V1 He Man first of the He Man figure in 1/6 Mondo line. Thanks so much for the in depth and concise review

Great video. Can you tell me how the head swap went? You mentioned the neck peg is shorter in the original, What is the new head still fit on the old body? Thank you

I never managed to do the head swap. The neck pegs are different sizes, and to pull them out of the bodies, would risk damage. Unfortunately, I couldn't simply switch the heads. Thanks for watching!

really enjoyed watch this video on my all time complete favourite super hero figure.. and thie figure my haerts desires..i love both 2018 and the mondo versions, with all what you said i do agree.. the 2018 was perfect except for the look on face, and on the mondo version i was also slight put off that upper body is 2 halfs.. i agre it should had being one solid body,, like they did with 1980s.. apart of it.. wish i had all those figure.. believe will have one day.

From the standpoint of the connection, the answer is yes. There is a difference in color/skin tone, which is noticeable. Thanks for watching!!

It's a consideration... however, I still haven't quite decided which one I'm keeping, and obviously if I was not keeping the Version 2.0, then I'd need to have the whole set to sell. Thanks for watching!

This is the video I was waiting for, thanks to you. I absolutely agree with you, the proportions of the 2018 He Man were actually perfect and even if the new head looks perfect from the design, it's somehow too big for the body, the proportions don't fit anymore and the arms look too short now.

Ya, definitely a dilemma. I did try to remove the neck pegs to see if I could (at least) switch the heads, but there was too much risk of damage. I don't customize heavily, or dremel, or drill etc into my figures, so my options are limited. Still not sure what I'm going to decide to do between the two. Thanks for watching!!

Wow ! It is amazing how companies, make action figures a lot better nowadays thru time practice, the computer, talent, creativity, and imagination, that, my mind never had.... Some people had the nac for this unfortunately, I did not, but I wished, that, I did.. Mondo and the big toys, put more effort in their toys than Mattell, but this is only an opinion.. It looks like people put more effort into big toys than smaller toys because it may be easier, but then again this is only an opinion. Mondo Exclusive, as, I watched your video, it seems, that you went a little beyond than Mattell with three outfits.. Regular, Battle Armor, and Thunder Punch outfit.... I am surprised,You didn't make a Prince Adam outfit or the Flying Fist Armor and also give him weapons with it. Maybe it is asking ... Wished I collected but didn't have the time, I just enjoy the artwork...

@@robertnickerson8463 Mondo DID make a Prince Adam version (sold separately). They're doing a nice job of completing the collection. Wish I had the space for Battle Cat along with almost all the other Mondo MoTU figures. Thanks for watching!

You were wrong about the articulation. He has single jointed elbows. Doesn't even meet a 90° bend. That part I dislike. Especially for the price.
