▬ ABOUT THIS VIDEO ▬
Mondly Review (Pros & Cons Explained). In this video, John from the TPI team covers his updated review of the Mondly languages app. This is a popular program for learning Spanish, French, or German. John talks about how the Mondly app works, what the lessons are like, and how much the Mondly courses cost. All in all, John likes the Mondly app but he does think other language learning programs such as Babbel and Rocket Languages are better. Still, John talks about what to expect in terms of practice drills and exercises across reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Mondly also offers a VR (virtual reality) and AR (augmented reality) app as well. Thanks for watching this Mondly app review. Hopefully it helps you deicde whether Mondly is the right choice to help you learn Italian, Russian, or Japanese. Best of luck everyone!

You didn't mention one important thing: Mondly is one of the very few language apps that are also offered as an app on the Mac computer. I think that's very important, because it's much easier to study and learn on a laptop.

Thanks for the review. Mondly seems like a great resource. Love the attempt to dive into VR. It would be nice for other language apps to do that. Maybe a city exploration app where you enter common locations and do particular things (order a meal, book a hotel, buy a bus ticket, etc.).

Awesome review, as per usual. I like how you can jump between pins. Freedom in areas of study makes all the difference. I'm generally a person who generally like to learn new stuff, but without this freedom I turn into a sulky 10 year old who procrastinates their homework to death. Choosing what my eyes focus on is so basic. Feeling completely involved and excited by what I learn is the fun part, especially when it comes to languages.

One has to realize that children learn a language a lot faster than adults because they do not have grammar hang-ups. It is worth thinking about it instead of considering the lack of intensive gammar lessons as a con.

What Language do you want to learn and why? Spanish. I grew up around a lot of Spanish speaking neighbors. Their culture is very rich, warm, and vibrant. I have learned a good bit in school and at work when engaging with patients who’s primary language is Spanish. Knowing Spanish helps me with the language barrier and offer’s a peace of mind to patients who are not fluent in English.

I mostly want to try mondly for the vr since I have an occulus, but I like duolingo's fast game like repetition.
