You've wandered these halls. You've sought knowledge beyond your comprehension, and have sipped from the font of the unfathomable. Deeper still you traversed, through flame and shadow, like a snake consuming it's own tail, endlessly onward, inward, down. From which stygian depths you rose will never be known, yet, somehow, you find yourself tracing the same steps, over and over, through the halls of the harrowed and the damned, into madness and blinding darkness so deep it is all consuming. Again and again, you emerge, only to cast back into the shadow, a revenant haunting a path to damnation, and perhaps... Salvation.
