    The original pitch for this sequence was that when godzilla goes up, its scales are disturbing the electro magnetic field, the helicopter system is impacted and it crashes, but I guess few executives changed their mind on it and we got this as a result.

    If anyone was curious, Godzilla has his new spines from 2019 because between 2014 and 2015 he fought the MUTO Prime (which almost killed Godzilla) and he lost his spines from 2014 in the process, thus having to grow the new (and in my opinion superior) spines that we see in Monarch, KoTM, and Gvk.

    It still bothers me so much that when Godzilla roars nobody covers their ears. That massive creature is screaming next to you, even blowing away dust and debris, and everyone just squints a little. It reminds me of that scene in Jurassic Park when the TRex roars next to the kids inside the car and they cover their ears and crouch, conveying the loudness and power of the creature.

    Keep in mind, Godzilla has been worshipped by humans before. I like to think that the legendary version of Godzilla sees humans like we see ants. Some times, they're interesting to look at in their natural habitat but we think nothing of them when stepping on them.

  • @Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent

    @Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent

    However at the same time Godzilla knew that humans built the structures around him in the ancient city and thus likely figured that humans at least looked up to him. So he knows that humans were sentient or at least capable of thinking like him. So he probably would try to avoid stepping on some if possible. However yeah he probably didn't think to much on it and who knows maybe he was fascinated watching humans create new stuff. Godzilla seems to know humans are potentially dangerous given that I'm quite sure he is aware that the ships and weapons firing on him are human created. Then again people sometimes has pets that are potentially dangerous. Given that people like to say Godzilla's point of view towards humans is the same way we view ants. don't forget that in sufficient numbers and the type of ant, they can kill a human. Ghidora on the other hand. He knew or probably knows exactly what humans are capable of. You don't make it a personal mission to go after a little human the way he did unless he knew he was confronting a equal sentient being as only sentient beings will make things personal. Also KONG knows humans are very much like him. Mothra had a huge soft spot for humanity as well. Humans likely viewed her as a literal Angel or God especially in the abrhamic lore (Probably the reason Godzilla tolerates humanity, doesn't want to piss off Mothra :P)
