Too many people complaining in the comments about these skaters chasing their dreams and wanting to put more control in their lives and the decisions they have on their own community.

I know, its strange. If it fails it fails and she tried and doesnt have to wonder years later "what if?". Also you could say the same thing about her trying to become pro as a female. There is now a huge market consisting of upcoming females who will likely choose to support a woman owned company. I would actually go as far as to say that sitting and typing critism about people not chasing their dreams should conider what they want and life and learn from someone who is out there already having accomplished their lifelong dream of turning pro and is still dreaming of new things. Dreams drive people and why not wait and see the outcome instead of predicting something based on the fact a lot have tried and failed. Some succeded. Most strivr for sponsorship and pro status and never achive it. Maybe thats the reason when someone is succesful people love to hate. Take a look inwards...

Funny how when it's a women-owned board brand commenters start complaining about cash grabs and market saturation. I'm happy to support any skater-owned brand if the shape and wood is good. Thank You and Dwindle work with great skater owned brands like Enjoi, Blind, Andale, and Almost.

Monarch boards are dope. I own a couple. They are unique for sure. Gotta try it

It’s strange to me that everything the company has put out has looked so corporate. Idk how much it’ll play for the regular skaters. Might be more popular for the fringe

That's what I'm seeing too for Monarch and across the industry. Most of the main stream board makers seems kind of safe. I'm guessing they just don't want to joust with the SJW or deal with blowback from parents?

Does anyone know what happened to Monarch?! Letícia now has another board now

maybe the cool thing is it doesn't look like another regular skate logo. plus leticia and sky are mega role models for tons of girls now, my friends kids in love sky especially ,so its a great match up, shame rayssal doesnt make it a trio, i think these boards will fly of the shelfs.

@@Bobbytheman98 Let's start by making boards last longer. There are already companies doing this but they get overlooked by the hundreds of brands that basically release the same board with different graphics because that's what the pros ride

Whilst I think you might be right, keep in mind there are more and more rookies and people beginning to skate. I just wished people would strive for a better tech, trying to innovate in the board industry (something to replace razer tails/fix them for instance) instead of thinking about making a name and money. Because that is what it looks like. There are enough board companies with humble and honest mindsets (yes April, thinking of you).

@@inkusaido The over saturation could lead to inferior quality decks. Lots of companies vying for decks from the various woodshops. I've already seen some meh decks from some big time woodshops.

@@TheReal_DeanD I get what you mean. At the same time, one would think that its just that there are now more people buying boards than quality workshops are able to put up. Wich is not an issue regarding the number of brands itself.

Look up her melt down at SLS ... I've seen 1 sky monarch board in the wild. That guy was a poser anyway. And I've never seen a monarch in a shop. Sky belongs at welcome or birdhouse... the other one should just keep getting the drone shots of her paddling out in a thong.... I don't know what that has to do with riding a board. She pitched a fit when the Japanese girl smoked her on her last trick. A d she had already celebrated ... team holding her up like it was over. Then powpow, no gold for you

Anyhow if you mean by belongs because of money, its the opposite way around. they make more off their own products than licensing their name out on a product. She has total freedom of being an owner and has to sell 10 licensed boards to 1 of her own. Hmmmm I wonder what is best for her. Anyway she knows whats best for her.

She acted like that because she knew she made an ass out of herself on national TV just like when Bucky started celebrating before Bob took his run and I want you to look at the difference in reaction Bucky knew that Bob had just destroyed his run.. again I've never seen a monarch board in a skate shop and I've only seen one in the wild and it was being ridden by someone that has to crawl down into the pool and then start skating backside kicked turns only
