Love the Konyak community of Mokokchung town coming out to support their hometown team in full force. As a neutral, I am most impressed by Mon's style of possession football with gradual buildup, tricky wingers, technical midfielders and an able target man. Hope they clinch the championship.

You can't just come to the conclusion of tagging every players as indiscipline. There can be a discipline and also the aggressiveness inside the four rectangular pitch. Everybody was given the opportunity to win and so did their best, try to appreciate every body instead of throwing hate comments.

For those of you saying Phek District football team were too aggressive, what else do you expect? This is a contact sport played by men. Do you expect the players to lay down red carpet and hand over roses to the opponents as they dribble past them? Rather I'd say it is a pleasant change to see hard tackling and aggressive body checking. A stark diversion from the mundane game we usually witness. Really builds up the adrenaline. Having said that, Mon were the better team and are the deserved winners. 👍
