@@neidys1425 are you serious?? you think everyone caught off guard crying their eyes out is show? You have no idea what I went thru coming out and how far my mom has come, my family has come. YOU need to think before you type, think before you comment on videos. Do you find joy in being hateful? Seeing something like this should bring joy that a mom can come so far to admit she was wrong and stand by her daughter during this time. I didnt even know this speech was going to take place and it wasnt even planned to be recorded so it not SHOW. Maybe watch our wedding video and then tell me if you think its all show. Until then your comments and remarks are not welcome here.

Lauren and Bry sorry but not sorry... they have de right to do whatever they what and I have the right to express myself. I don’t think all the feelings in that event are fake or show, seriously I don’t. What is a show is calling that a wedding and then have a marriage! That’s not it.

I got married to my wife 3 weeks ago. Not one of my family members came, other than my beautiful 6 year old son. He walked me down the isle because he knew I had nobody to walk me down the isle. I am not accepted by my family & that will forever kill me inside. This video hit me harder than any other. For someone to love someone no matter who they’re with is bigger than most people know. This is beautiful and I am forever grateful for those of you who love and support the LGBTQ+ community ❤️

When I told my dad the same thing, I was about 20. He listened and then just told me "Okay, thanks for letting me know." I told him then that I had been a little scared to say it, because although I knew he was totally cool with gay people, he had said on a couple of occasions that he didn't believe bisexuals really existed (he'd absorbed the common myth that we're just confused, or gay people who don't admit it). His answer? *"You clearly know more about the subject than I do! I just bowed to superior information."* I love my dad. The ability to turn on a dime and change opinions in light of new data is surprisingly rare and difficult, and he did it so easily, just because I told him and he figured that I must know myself better than he knew whatever random subject had crossed his path.

DDT DDT Each individuals walk in life is different and who they love does not determine if they have the purest form of love. Everyone has the purest form of love regardless of their sexuality in that, Jesus Christ died for all of us because he loves us so deeply and purely! No matter who you love, He loves you! I think that’s pretty cool!😁

@@smalley27 actually, he died because he had to buy back what Adam had lost -- everlasting life. This is why he was a ransom -- something paid to set someone else free. In this case, he gave his perfect life because Adam, who was also made perfect, sinned. Death is the penalty of sin. But because of Jesus' ransom sacrifice, we have the opportunity to live forever on earth because that's where the promise was lost.

Ky Ky yes, but what I am saying is that earthly “love” can not compare to the love that our savior has for us. Love here on earth cannot be pure in that sense. I feel like it is inaccurate to attest that woman to woman is the purest form of love. I know why Jesus died for me. I was just trying to explain that his love is far greater that anything we can conceive in our earthly relationships.

Great speech! I am a straight woman and when I've had friends or family members that bravely come out to me, (or tell me they are in a relationship with someone of another race) I just tell them "thank you for trusting in me, and this is the way I see it, it's hard enough to find someone you love who loves you back in this world. In fact the world needs more love, not less. So, I could care less if you love someone who is the same sex or what race they are, your happiness is all I care about." I've always accepted the LGBTQ+ community, I wish NO ONE had to deny who they really are, just to feel accepted. It breaks my heart that so many are so afraid to be who they were BORN to be. My wish is for anyone watching this video and reading my comment, is that you all find love, peace, happiness and most of all acceptance from friends and family and from more people in society. Don't be afraid to start your real journey in life. And as the Mom said, don't look back! ❤️

Julia Nowell after listening to my speech hopefully you know there is HOPE. It took me several years to understand and accept and I wish I could take those years back. I love Lauren so fearlessly and I am so blessed she found a love like I never had. Please share the video so every parent that is not accepting can see it does not matter who their child loves.

Every parent needs to hear this. Not just parents of LGBTQ+, but all parents. I think we forget that our kids are their own people and they aren’t going to fit the mold that we think they should. One mom just loving her daughter has undoubtedly changed lives.

thank you for watching. The minute I finished this speech at Laurens wedding I knew it was more than just a message for Lauren, her wife, my friends and family. Girls were coming up to me telling me how their parents were supporting them. How they wished that their parents could hear my message. I knew then that this was more than just my journey with Lauren. My hope is that this message will reach anyone that does not love their child unconditionally. Anyone that is hiding because of fear they will disappoint, and anyone that is not supported by their parents, family and friends. My journey with Lauren should show there is hope, and Lauren’s journey with Bry shows Love does Win. Again thank you for watching and I hope you will continue to share this video💕
