Rialto, not to far from Moval. My parents have been gardening for years. They always dig every year before they start planting seeds. I always see them spending hours outside just preparing the soil and adding in manure, etc. As you hear her say, they water the plants about 2 times a day.

Impressive garden! I swear I thought kaffir was a bush but your mom's kaffir tree proves me wrong. I laugh so loud when your mom says "i wash my plants twice a day, but i only wash myself once a day."I love her selection of vegetables. Does she grafting her plants for reproducing? I would love to purchase some of her plants for my own garden.

Years. Although every year it looks a little different. It all depends on what she wants to grow. But she starts every year the same. By digging dirt all over the yard.

wth that's crazy!! I thought yall stayed in Fresno or Modesto where soil for agriculture is more productive... We stay in the IE also (Moval) and can never get our garden to be as lush & abundant as Om's. Love her garden simply stunning and so inspiring! Any tips for growing in our area? got it... that's prob how they get their soil to yield better. Our soil in Moval is so dry and hard. Perhaps we need to use Om's technique of prepping it better prior to planting. 25:45 she referred to as "L'meit" it's an orange flesh, is Tumeric. It is used more for its color or more for food coloring than its flavor. It one of the basic, but a MUST have. You referred to as "Bass" is Ivy Gourds.

Awesome garden I wish we could grow some plants that are hard to grow her in New Zealand, eg pomegranate.. my mum has a massive Asian garden she grows most of what your mum grows because she sells it at the Market in weekend, deo's your mum sell her her Vegies and plants?
