Erin Dsousa I think the language barrier alone DOES make things more/less awkward. A lot of idols speak broken english and not every group has someone who can translate for them (also when that’s the case: it’s basically an interview only with the english speaking idol). Idols with broken english have a hard time expressing themselves, so that the interviewer has no choice but to ask extremely short and simple questions that don’t lead anywhere in their "conversation" and will also be awkwardly nodding/laughing when the members speak korean with each other or joke around...but that’s just my opinion!😊

The Real Nicola Sturgeon granted yeah, but if you look back even to a couple of years ago, they had Steven training like he was going to be a Kpop star with Amber from f(x), the try guys had this series with k pop, they were always covering kpop. But now that a lot of ppl are noticing kpop and KCON was in LA, I could get why they were there. Butttttttttt…everyone has they’re own opinion.
