모모랜드가 새 미니앨범 4집 'Fun to the world' 앨범 발매 기념 쇼케이스가 26일 오후 서울 용산 블루스퀘어 아이마켓홀에서 열렸다.
새 미니앨범 4집 'Fun to the world'에는 타이틀곡 'BAAM'(배엠)을 비롯해 Only one you, Very Very 등 총 4곡이 수록됐다.
타이틀곡으로 선정된 '배엠'(BAAM)은 생각지도 못했던 이성이 갑자기 마음에 꽂혀 들어오는 상황을 'BAAM'이라는 단어로 재미있게 표현한 곡으로 모모랜드 히트곡 '뿜뿜' 프로듀서인 신사동호랭이와 범이낭이의 합작이다. 전작의 활동에서 보여준 모모랜드 멤버 개개인의 개성을 잘 드러내는 파트와 트랜디한 랩 훅이 가미되어 신선함을 더 한 이곡은 쉬운 가사와 간결한 후렴구가 인상적인 일렉트로스윙 장르의 신나는 하우스곡이다.
트랙 2의 '베리베리'는 작곡가 핑크문(PINKMOON)이 작사작곡한 곡으로 경쾌하고 발랄한 이미지가 돋보이며 '널 내게 빠지게 만들겠다'는 메시지가 돋보이는 곡이다. Nu-disco 장르의 댄스곡으로 신스 베이스와 플럭 신스의 매력을 엿볼 수 있다.
트랙 3의 '빙고게임'은 몬스터팩토리가 작사하고 스테인보이스(STAINBOYS)가 작곡한 곡으로 EDM과 PUNK ROCK 스타일 접목시킨 하이브리드 댄스 락이다. 시원한 기타 사운드와 화려한 신디사이저 사운드가 모모랜드의 독특한 음색과 조화를 이루며 색다른 매력을 보여주는 곡으로 친근함과 중독성 있는 가사가 매력적이다.
트랙 4의 'Only one you'(온니 원 유)는 몬스터팩토리가 작사, 작곡했으며 어쿠스틱 기타와 신스 사운드가 돋보이며 "메리들"에게 언제나 함께라서 행복하다는 감성적인 가사가 일기장처럼 전달되는 곡이다.
소속사 관계자는 "이번 앨범은 제목 'Fun to the world' 처럼 재미와 흥을 전세계에 전달하겠다는 각오를 담고 있다"며 "타이틀곡 '배엠'을 '뿜뿜'의 열기를 더욱 끌어 올리는 곡으로 만들겠다"고 각오를 밝혔다.
한편 모모랜드는 26일 앨범 발매와 함께 미니앨범 4집 발매 기념 쇼케이스를 갖고 컴백활동에 돌입한다.

just reposting my comment from their MV comment section I can understand why people criticize this comeback but the words you guys wrote didn't really help them and only make them fall (or do you want them to fall tho?) why can't you guys just give them advices AFTER you wrote the critiques so they probably won't do the same mistakes. just, why can't you guys do that? Hamburger Helper too vary to mention one by one, but like I said when they just say "it's too similar to bb and took too many references" and just end it with "..." and no feedback to make them improve but for personally, I totally didn't agree to the argument that baam is literally has the same singing order

Enlo vigilante it’s a showcase, so the audience isn’t allowed to make any noise (so the people filming can release videos where you can hear the songs well. it’s basically a press thing)
