Great final game to use. Was funny to watch live. Haitani was yelling something I couldn't understand during the call with Momochi. Laughs were had all around.
Bro whats crazy is that hes battling his worst matchups with ease ( blanka, ken, and especially Guile) Momochi is a beast i hope he starts playing local tournaments again

I've found blanka to be one of eds best matchups, I'm really not sure what blanka can even do. Ed is so good at stopping all of their gimmicks on reaction. Also ken is definitely not a bad matchup, I think it's 5-5.
That last moment of the video was epic

The moment Haitani chose to back off it was checkmate. Even if he neutral jumped the sphere and stalled with air legs Momo would have tagged him with the diagonal up flicker.

Although smp clk can be stopped by smp if guarded smp shp cannot be stopped, so there is a gap and it is easy to get a counterattack. Then you can also do oki by doing mdp at the end of the combo.

At 0:39 I believe it is because he doesn't know if Blanka will be able to block in time, and doesnt trust he can hit confirm sMP > sHP target combo in time. Target Combo has a strict input window for the HP so you're pretty much locked into using it whether they blocked or not. sMP > crLK gives more time to hit confirm into the DP, and if it's blocked he has more options besides being forced to special cancel like with the Target Combo
