Thank you, Amber. I always need and appreciate your encouragement. We've raised our first big chunk but we have many millions to go and we're on a mission to do something that can make a difference right now, before we're completely built--and give donors a glimpse into how we'll get the bigger goals into fruition. I don't know if I'm in a position to give advice but it seems that the ideas that are really helpful at this point are: 1) make sure you've got all your information lined up--that you have a strategic and business plan so you can show investors that you've got a plan for sustainability. 2) don't do it alone and in a vacuum, i.e. don't re-invent the wheel--get good advice. Our mentor has been a game changer (experience in the field we're building in). 3) keep your enthusiasm high, remember the "why". You're bringing changes for the good into the world. 💛💛💛💛💛

Hi Amber, could you possibly talk a bit about hiring your first employee as a 501c3. Maybe it’s a full video that breaks down each step. Setting up workman’s comp, payroll, taxes, banks automating checks, employee handbooks, safety, contractors vs employee… Thanks for considering my request. Love your vibes and videos!
