That's why their friendship is so amazing and envied, they see each other as equals 💜 Jimin, for example, is from the maknae line but is very protective and affectionate with the other boys, which is one of the many reasons I love him so much 😭 Jungkook, the youngest, is also another example 😊

It’s not as common, but you can read about abusive households where everyone, parents and oldest siblings become torturers to the younger. There’s no one to turn to for relief. I’m looking for research or articles on this lately, if anyone knows.

Typically they say the oldest is the most responsible, the middle often receives less attention and the youngest is pampered. Of course, these are just stereotypical traits and not all people are like this. However, these kinds of traits often appear more with korean families because the hierarchy is seen as a very important factor in korea. Note: I'm also an only child, so I can only say this from perspectives of videos I've watched or heard of from my friends or people neare. Sorry if it didn't make much sense; I tried to explain it the best I could :)

I always got the impression Sugas older brother was favored over him. That was part of the reason Suga is so passionate about proving himself. His parents (at the time) didn't believe in him. They ripped up his music and this gutted him. He was the rebel and trusted himself so much he pursued his dream. That's why I noticed he loves holding the awards. He worked so hard to get where he's at very proud of his music. Hes still a workaholic. Ps. Hes proud of bts as a whole . They busted their azzes to get where they are and he never thought they would get this far. Out if all the members-Suga never had it easy . He always had some kind of obstacle in his way. He's a warrior🥰

Just a genuine question- where did you get the idea that suga's brother was favored over him? Suga talks very little about this family, so we shouldn't be assuming things that we don't know about, plus suga didn't hint about anything of the sort. And this is just my opinion/thought, but I think his parents thought he was just mucking around and that music was disturbing his studies, and didn't really think he was actually serious about it. Plus, doing music as a career can be unstable and it's hard to be successful.. so his parents probably wanted him to study hard and get a stable job. And yes, I agree with the last part🥰

I forgot where I watched it but it was recently & the vid was actually kinda old, it brought the story of Suga's life back in Daegu, his former teachers & also his juniors there. Some of it told that during Suga growth back then, his hyung even gave up on his room for Suga to make a kind of studio to start to compose. Also his father spent quite amount of money to buy him instrument too. So, idk how exactly & in what way they didn't support him back then, I'm sure we'll never know the whole story, and better let it be that way. And in the Skit part of Agust D mixtape we can hear the conversation between Suga & his hyung, and how supportive of him.
