I was an LNG fan, but as a fan of the team since the snake esports days with Flandre Sofm and Kryst4l i was so happy for Flandre

Finally, the 2021 memories and moment come out

Thats why China LPL regions are so unexpected cuz every single year until las moment or chance for Worlds qualifier a new team rise to the top of LPL

We had a fantastic group stage, an okay quarterfinals, and then a truly amazing semifinals and finals. Truly a Worlds to remember.

@@vuk5475 ofc LPL will have more top tier teams. They import players at roles in which they lack sufficient talent. 🤷‍♂️ LCK isn't brimming with talent at every role which is the main reason why 2-3 teams per season were only considered as top tier in LCK.

@@alexnguyen6159 Those different angles on the Summoner's Rift, they aren't good, either, they even remove the names of the players, so unless you remember who played which champion, you don't feel any emotion by watching it like that. Their selection of plays aren't good and then, they cut it right at the middle of anything, too, just to see what someone said.

EVen tho my team didnt make it outta group D, I will forever remember the 1st 4 way tie and the anxiety, the high and lows as I tried to not cheer at my computer monitor while at work.

I have a feeling this video didnt do justice on how grand the worlds 2021 was...

1. Riot never stick to the Worlds Orchestral Theme like they did for all Worlds moments & memories since 2016 2. Too many interviews & quotes 3. Lacking too many hyped casting moments

personally i was annoyed that they kept cutting the song out at the best parts and they didn't use the orchestral theme. But overall, it's cool that they're trying something different and for a while i was scared we wouldn't get a moments and memories considering how long this one took to come out

RNG, winner of SPring LPL, + EDG, winner of Summer LPL. Together they beat LCK, taught Dk two lessons. So many changes of team members now, EDG not only breaks the curse of themselves, they also have forced DK, GENG, T1 to regroup for next year. A Huge Win.

LPL teams perform better without too much expectations. 2018 IG had RNG carry expectations and after they beat KT, they door was wide open. 2019 FPX lost all expectations in groups and after RNG didn’t make it out of groups, they also performed very well in playoffs. 2020, whilst I don’t attribute SN losing to pressure because DWG was at their peak, SN would have had the weight of the entire LPL after having 2 wins vs LPL teams and thus carrying all their hopes. 2021, ofcourse, EDG lost expectations in groups and the underperformance of LGD/FPX also helped sinker expectations.
