Milestones like these mean our imaging team has decades of experience in CT (Computed Tomography), DEXA (Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry), Echocardiography, Interventional Radiology, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Radiography (Routine X-ray), Ultrasound (Sonography), and Vascular Imaging.
In some hospitals, radiology staff often work with only one modality. WNH’s knowledgeable technical staff are nationally registered and state licensed in multiple areas. Exams are interpreted by board certified radiologists with Wichita Radiology Group.
Radiology is staffed 24/7 to serve inpatients and the ER, and when time is of the essence, staff are on call for needed exams. For your convenience, outpatient exams can be scheduled during a wide range of hours.
"Patients are surprised how quick most exams are. You can often get in and out immediately, and because of our extended hours, we can serve our community really fast," says Blake Boswell, Sonographer.
