Slayer has a thing for Haikus, but he's terrible at them. When he uses his Instant Kill in GGXX, All Dead, he recites a haiku. Each line pulls from a random list, which typically make no sense. It comes up again in Xrd, also reciting a haiku with random lines that make no sense. Basically, the joke is that his haikus make absolutely no sense. "In deepest darkness, the fly's completely open, Robotic Shogun"

@@totallynotdio1311tad extra context here: before their rise to popularity. haikus were usually written in groups typically as part of a drinking game so having off kilter or comedic aspects to them was quite popular one example of this (this is translated) is “the lone heavenly abbot-sitting out on the field at sunrise-is shitting himself”

Slayer is bad at haikus. When he performs one, the game randomly generates a line from a predetermined list for each version. Line 1 will pull from a list, Line 2 will pull from a list, and line 3 will pull from a list.

Slayer has a hobby in writing haikus, but he's terrible at them. They follow the 5-7-5 scheme, but each line makes absolutely no sense. When he used his Instant Kill moves in XX and Xrd, each of the three lines would be completely random. For example, one haiku generated would be "When one nears 40, on a Saturday evening, the king's champion" while another would be "So mediocre, sorry, it's via email, the king's champion".
