I love how your mom talked about your biological father. “He was a good person, he just wasn’t my person.” It’s so easy to be bitter and talk bad about exes, so her not doing that shows real strength. It’s very admirable. I love the chaos when all 3 of you were in the room. 😂

It is rare to hear someone talk good about an ex and admit, "hey, it wasn't meant to be but he/she is a good person." You can definitely tell she was mature enough at a young age to see that. People these days just don't do that these days and like I said, it's rare to hear someone being mature about the break up/divorce and hear them talk good about each other. Sometimes I see a video or post about divorced couples so good with each other that they all hang out and become good friends and each of them having someone new and they all go do family things together with no drama.

I know! i relate a lot to Kris because my mom is verbally abusive(ive come to terms with it and am taking measures to make sure my mental health and emotional wellbeing is ok)so seeing how she still has a good relationship with her mom and that Mrs. Collins acknowledges that she made mistakes is just amazing. I wish my mother could do that, its always our fault and not hers. Im happy for u Kris!

Currently have a 2 year old. Haven't had to yet but if I make a mistake I plan to apologize for it. I want him to understand that I do my best and I only want what's best for him but parents aren't perfect either. I also don't plan to use the "because I said so" line, hated that growing up

You will probably never see this, but I really needed this today. I lost my mom to COVID-19 this January. Seeing how close you two are and how you interact with each other let me experience that unconditional love for a little while again. The one year anniversary of her passing is coming up and this is the first time I won't have her with me on Christmas. I can't describe the pain, grief, and loss that have been building the closer Christmas gets, it is suffocating. So getting to watch you guys just be yourselves, laughing, picking on each other and just loving each other.... Well I can't express how much it helped me in this moment. Please cherish each other in good times, but especially bad, because it's definitely something we take for granted. ❤️ Sending so much love y'all's way. 🫰🏻

hey mate. im going thru the same. lost mum in September. the anniversary will suck and it will be overwhelming. but thats normal and part of the process. i just started seeing someone abut my feelings (was getting panic attacks and depression) this has help immensely. your not alone nor the first to go thru it so if you feel out of control then talk to someone abut it. i tried to hold it together and not bother anyone with it but it just got worse. much love from Australia.

It's amazing how much Jessica and Kris look like their mother. Especially the eyes and the whole upper part of the face around the eyes. But when I look closely, it's the same around their mouth and chin. This adorable impersonation of Kris, when she was a child, as she plays with her own little fingers in the corner and comes up with different characters for them and imitates them as they speak, I can accurately imagine that, and it's super adorable and endearing. I thought mom would be much serious person, i.e. that she wasn't really ready to mess around in this way and laugh easily, especially in front of the camera and in front of all of us. She is really cheerful, lovable and open to laughter, and just cute. Just wasn't expecting this amount of warmth in the air.

The fact that if you didn't know they were related you could easily guess it by the talking over each other and Kris getting annoyed 😂 as well as the favourite child part. Love this.

What an awesome change seeing your mum for the first time! I get the feeling the reason why you're considered a blessing to your mother while also being a surprise/accident child, is that you're incredibly lax about life and have had a great attitude since childhood, so (eg the potty training part she mentioned) you were probably one of the best things to happen to her during a tough time. Even amazing to see that she admits she made mistakes with her parenting and doesn't try to defend herself over it, rather, being honest and open. Love and respect to both of you, Kris!

even when you make mistakes if you do the best you can and apologize when you are wrong 9 times out of 10 your kids will understand and forgive when they are older. I know as soon as I turned 22 I was like oh shit, all the bad things I thought about my mom...she was just doing what she thought was best. obviously we don't write off actual abusive relationships or stuff like that, but honest mistakes have been totally forgiven
