It's so wrong that her husband left her and moved on with his life and also so sad that her friends stop coming to see her. You don't need people like that in your life.

The world doesnt stop for you nor anyone. So why should an individual put a pause on their life simply because you lack coping skills? Husband got tired of being with a woman who had obviously already given up on their marriage since the only focus was the disabled daughter. Friends arent required to go with you to visit YOUR family. In some situations, hospitals will only allow visits from immediate relatives.

@@selectiveapathyfeelings are not like a faucet you can’t just shut them off and if you’re able to do that then there were never feelings there in the first place. None of my Mom’s friends came to see her or even ask how she was and I don’t speak to any of them anymore. They sure loved my Mom when she was healthy and well and could do favors for them. This is why I have no use for people today it’s just ice cold to have an attitude like that towards people who through no fault of their own have found themselves in this situation😡

Similar thing happened to a friend. Docs said no hope and that he was brain dead. Family had him moved back to US hospital near home. With years of hard work and a couple brain surgeries, he learned everything all over, finished college, sings with choirs, gives talks both motivational and for the church. Never underestimate God and a mother's love.

It must I’ve been heartbreaking for the mom each time she went to the hospital but she kept going and kept believing. She was allowing her daughter to make the decision to live or not (body shutting down or not). If she had pulled the plug I feel like she would’ve spent a long time wondering “if I held on for one more day” or “did I do the right thing”.

You most Certainly hear when you are in a coma! 60 days, three hospitals later I was home after being t-boned by Tyler Wilson. I wish him Karma everyday, cause my poor body was left side crushed. He lied about having permission to drive his friend’s pick-up. He put his cooler in the back of my car & was sitting in my backseat when state cop pulled up. He stole items too. A conversation with a hospital employee a few weeks later brought what a neighbor said back to me while in a coma. I unfortunately moved here, healthcare is a joke. My life will never be the same, however seeing this puts it in perspective!

I was so moved by this mother's incredible resilience. As a mother, I recently wrote a book about my two children and their near-death experiences at different times. Doctors had me bring in end-of-life for my children. I could not, did not give up. I believe I have shared this mother's many emotions of despair, worry, extreme sadness, helplessness, and fear. The hours, days, & weeks by a child's bedside allows ample time for thoughts & prayer. Near Death by Fire and Ice is a quick read, full of miracles & hope.

As a person who had his life saved. My advice would be to pull the plug. That is what I wish someone would have told the doctors for me. There is no chance to recover from anything in America! It is impossible. She is wearing a mask just like I do. I look OK on the outside, and I can walk and take care of myself. The real problems exist in working and living in a paranoid world and an extremely aggressive work ethic in America! Taxes are outrageously aggressive and extremely difficult to keep up with. Being single means you pay the maximum amount in gut wrenching Taxes and almost always owe more, even claiming 0! I can't get a loan because of bad credit, but I have 0 debt. Please, if any family members have to go through this, pull the plug. Don't make someone wear one of these awful masks because it sucks not being able to recover or even recognize yourself.
