Maybe he said something in Maltese.... Sometimes when a person is raised in two languages equally, or mostly equally, they mix them in the same sentence. Spanish/English would be like this "This weekend I trabajar, and Monday de la tarde, I'm going to la playa with my primo" "This weekend I work, and Monday afternoon I'm going to the beach with my cousin". I looked it up, and Maltese people are pretty much raised in Both Maltese and English...

The puppy vaccines are broken down, & it's a process to have them fully protected. One full adult vaccine is broken down into three equal dosages & given 2-3 weeks apart. The puppies are too small yet, & a full dosage, if administered at one time, will overdose, & could potentially be fatal to the puppy, so gradual doses are administered. The Vet also observes for a few minutes any allergic reactions or side affects once the vaccines are administered, that could occurr. Just a precautionary measure to make sure the puppy tolerates it well. So yes, the puppies start vaccinations at 5-6 weeks old to start their baseline protection. The series of vaccines can take up to 3 months to complete because there's more than one type of vaccine they are required to get. Once they've completed their series of injections & preventative de-warming meds, they will start their yearly protocols of full vaccine doses. This is also why Oliver & Hooman #2 never take the puppies outdoors for walks & to play with the big Shibas. They are not yet fully protected & are too vulnerable to viruses, parasites, & diseases that they are much too small yet to fight. They don't start experiencing the outdoor elements until after rehoming, where their new owner's will bring them to complete their remaining vaccination dosages. Oliver & Hooman #2 get them started, & the new forever families bring them to complete the remainder of their full coverage. It's also why many times, meet & greet updates are not for a few months. It gives the puppies time to acclimate into their new environment with their new families, & to finish their series of injections. 🙂
