Why turn away young ppl looking for advice/guidance? If they don’t get it from an adult, they’ll just get it from their age group which is worst. Some kids don’t have intelligent adults to seek advice from.

Well if that's the cynical view you have of the world around you, thank fuck I'm not in your life. What would've been the easy option? Give him a shoutout and send him on his merry way, but he could see something was on his mind so he encouraged him to open up and that's what we're calling coercion? Please, don't make me laugh. So everyone not seeking help or seeking to talk should be left to their own devices to self destruct? LOL. So apparently in 2022, not seeking help means that if someone wants to help they shouldn't be allowed to, Sol encouraging him to open up is exactly what shows that he does care... Some are still still harping on about the "who's your mum" question, which is a weird hill to die on. Sure, I can concede it perhaps wasn't the best question to ask right off the bat and I understand because of that it rubbed the kid the wrong way so he blocked him. That's fine, what's not fine is acting like Sol taking to his channel to finish his side, raise overall awareness is a negative thing. So he profitted off the video...so what? How does that take away from the overall message he was saying, which clowns would know if you watched the original video. But no, you'd rather get your takes from dishonest journalism. These 2 guys you're riding are doing the exact same they accused Hasan Abi of doing and that's ok? Y'all are some sheep. Do your own research and stop being a mindless baboon.

@@sasharay5210 ... I guess I bite the bait. That's a *very* selfish point of view you just expressed, first of all. Once you're a mother, you have to focus on your kid and making sure they grow up physically and mentally healthy. The kid is getting harassed and bullied at his school because of his mother. When kids are pushed into this situation while they're growing up, a few things will happen- one of the obvious is they'll physically lash out at everyone and anyone. The other, out of all examples, is possibly offing themselves. There's a reason why the therapist said, "I hope this young man is still with us", dude. Then again, you give off the vibe that if he did do this, you'd blame him for "being selfish" and "not supportive" regardless of his circumstances. I wouldn't be surprised anymore. A bit of problem lately though is "mental health professionals" giving people the worst advice imaginable and being no better than just getting advice from people on Twitter. I'm not saying all, or even necessarily most of the people in that profession are net-negatives to individuals and society, but there's definitely enough to pump the brakes a bit in terms of saying, "There's such a high ethical standard on them..." Just like teachers and education at every level. Yes, there are a lot of good ones, but also trying to say that there's "such a high ethical standard on them" when so many are at best really shitty teachers and at worst doing things like grooming kids or (accidentally) showing dick pics to their class and not getting fired, but just moved to a different school, is enough to pump the brakes on the broad-brush approach.

I agree. The dislike button had a tiny bit of useful information. It said "not everybody likes this content" and it also possibly served as a warning of empending controversy depending on the ratio of likes/dislikes. It was a minor opportunity to judge a book by its cover. At this rate, in the name of equity and equality, they will remove all forms measurement and meritocracy. Wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of lame content creators.
