Other than Sweetpea, Daniela is the nastiest brat of the LTM. Sweetpea pretty much just annoys Popeye & his siblings, Daniela annoyed the entire troop all the time. She thought she could do whatever she wanted & she wanted to stuff her face constantly. She tried to steal food from a high ranking male. What baby would do that? Even Sweetpea would never do that. It was only a matter of time until she was killed. She did whatever she wanted & her screaming, screeching, constant tantrums put the whole troop in danger.

This is not torture. Dana knows what needs to be done in order for her troop to survive. Notice that Daniella will not quit or take no for an answer. I feel sorry for the mother, not the baby.

Dana is hungry and tired from Dolly and DeeDee She is constantly chasing after them for Daniela shes constantly being hit and bitten by them because of Daniela and they dont let her eat or rest . On top of it Daniela bites her and is on and off her nipple continuously and when DeeDee or Dolly pull at her she bites Dana's nipple real hard to hold on. I feel sorry for Dana she just wants a break. A place where she can eat snd sleep and be with her baby without being tormented.

I was quite strict with my daughter & she's grown up into a very successful, responsible, moral adult. She owns several businesses, married her middle school sweetheart, they had their 2nd home built for them 2 yrs ago & for her hobby, she rescues, fosters & rehabs disabled exotic birds. Yes, I'm bragging. She's my only child & I'm so proud of her. I'm so glad I raised her the way I did.

I saw one mom go up a tree every time the cub threw a tantrum. It was so funny. The mom would toss the cub off the tree. The look on the face of the cub on the tantrum mom taking it up the tree again was priceless. It found out mom meant business. Mom won.

Which monkey killed the little brat? I saw it dragged around after death but I couldn’t tell the adult monkeys apart. Where there any repercussions from her being attacked and killed? This is a difficult step as well for the mother who must in spite of her removed her baby and teach him to do without the open bar and for his daughter who must understand and accept it. Horrible demon spawn! That thing got it butt beat every day!!!! By everyone. Wouldn't never listen to it mother right there! Never went by the rules. Ms.dana tryed with it! I still don't see where she was that different than other monkey babies. While on the other side of the Temple Sweet-pea and his Mom Popeye broke "All" the monkey rules, plus some. It's funny how people think that Dana is actually hurting her. If you pay attention to what's going on you will see that when 99% of mother macaques wean their babies, they never actually bite down on them. What they're actually doing is called "mock biting" What's really happening is their pushing the baby forehead or snout against their teeth. Just enough to get their point across and establish boundaries and feeding times. The only LTM's I've ever seen bite their baby with any kind of real force is Jade & Ava.

Even though Daniela is a baby monkey, she instinctively knows the rules of the hierarchy and chose to break them anyway. Constantly throwing those temper tantrums, eating out of turn and the worst violation of all was when she literally took food out of an elder female's hand! She's lucky she didn't get killed right then and there. As I said, they live by strict rules and sometimes breaking those rules can get you killed. Daniela found that out. And the other monkey looky-loos learned a lesson that day, too.

She always has a favourite and if other little monkeys get in her way she's not that nice to them. Not abusive like some, but certainly not an angel. She was great for Lori when Amari wasn't around.

When mum rejects a hand or mouth at the teat repeatedly Daniela squeals, repeats the denied action more insistently capping if off with harder and harder and harder snatching of moms fur. Real aggressive snatching. Repeatedly. Some blood is going to flow for her to learn. She doesn’t learn without airtime. Foot 🦶 in the face isn’t leaving an impression.

It seems that she's wanting her to walk instead of riding all the time. This kid is CLEARLY to the age when she could be doing just that was well as learning to forage. They are just such creepy little things but ungodly STRONG. Anna was doing everything monkeyly possible to get rid of her & I don't blame her.

Except that is Thier INSTINCT. They are intelligent. But that doesn't go against the primal instincts. Also weaning starts usually around 4 months old (they have milk teeth until 30 weeks, not perm molars) alllll the way up to 12-18 months. They aren't leeches this is what they do. All of them. She is no where near the age where nutritional weaning should be occuring. It's just not. Her starting the process is normal..they carrying etc. But she won't be of an age to get all of her nutritional needs met eating on her own yet. It happens over time. Bit by bit. Doesn't matters. The VO's purposely fed her in front of females to catch the drama. She hadn't learned about hierarchy yet. That's why she got so disciplined by the females after that shot. She ends up dead anyway. Which people think it was because of her crying. Just, keep in mind these are animals. Running off of instinct. They will learn, over time. They tantrum and manipulate as yearlings more often than not. Daniella is simply too young for that.

the only problem is that daniela is much too young to go without milk. Dana sits there, watching, as Deedee drags her skull over 20 rocks. Dana is low rank, if Dana tried to help Daniela, they'd fight her. Merry, Daisy Deedee don't like Daniela because she doesn't follow hierarchy rules and eats first. Dana always looks around, not knowing what to do....Poor Daniela suffered, starved for milk and beaten constantly. She is in a better place, poor baby...

Daniela's not even 2 months old, so mom should NOT be treating her like this. The weaning should begin at 10 months & go all the way up to 2 years of age. This poor baby is kidnapped, tortured, & rejected several times a day by different monkeys. She is by far the most abused baby in all of the troupes, & on top of that, her bitch mother Dana neglects, abuses, & rejects her consistently every single day. It's most truly too sad that people would make mean-spirited comments about this poor innocent overly abused baby monkey Daniela. She's better off dead than being tortured every single day, including by her own mother. Hopefully Dana won't have any more babies. You deserve much better baby Dani. Daniela WAS a whiny little shit and Santra finally, in an act of valor and heroism, did what every one in the troupe wanted to do and openly sent a strong message to other young whiny little imps that Daniela-type of behavior won’t be tolerated and execution will be swift and in plain view for the world to see how the troupe keeps females in line when they step out of line or are inferior in the rankings. This is not my opinion but is well documented macaque behavioral science. It is too early to wean a baby monkey. Daniela was only 48 days old. And many times, Daniela had been left alone, bec Dana did not want Daniela to follow her or ride on her back. That is why Daniela had stronger hands and legs, circumstances trained her to be independent, to travel alone, and to mingle with other monkeys. She was loved by Maci, her grandma Popeye, her brother Donny, Ashley, Jessie. Sadly, she was targeted by the kidnapper Dee Dee and Dolly. She was bullied by Merrie too, bec her mother often abandoned her and many times could not defend her. Dana is the prettiest mom of all, but a weak mother. Not too responsible. Maci, Polino and others are much older than.Daniela, and yet their mothers have not weaned them. Poor pitiful Daniela. She was left to be an adult monkey.

Dana does not spoil her babies.. They eat when necessary but none of them were allowed to just suckle for comfort.. She doesn't like breast feeding at all.. we saw that with baby Donnie.. Baby Daniella had a rough life before she was killed and I believe Dolly interrupted the bonding process between Dana and this baby....I believe it's the reason she got killed.. Dana allowed her to roam without any supervision.. In this video, baby Daniella was being so stubborn and persistent.. I can see why Dana was dealing with her a bit harshly.. She wouldn't take no for an answer.. But She hardly got time to feed.. before she was snatched from Dana.. This happened so much.. Poor baby just didn't have a chance..

Yeah she's not really hurting her she's trying to stop her from climbing all over her trying to get milk so she will keep biting and hitting her lightly until she stops trying to feed if she stops hitting her and pushing her she will just keep latching onto her nipple I'm pretty sure it hurts like hell when they bite down on it. LOL. You see every time she gets loose she runs right up her latching herself onto her arm or leg if she was in pain and scared she would run like hell but she doesn't. O One more thing when they are young do you see the extra skin is on around their face like it hangs down a little they get bit it looks like it's hurting them but it's just pulling the skin I'm sure sometimes they bite a little too hard because they are pissed LOL but I really don't know just studying them that's what it seems like too Me.

It is implied that baby monkeys that are too unruly that their mother can no longer discipline them, earns the ire of their own mother and tribe. Daniela is disobedient, it picked and ate the food a human handed over it in front of adult monkeys. Whats worse Daniela has a serious behavioral problem which led it its mother and the tribe to torment it to death
