I have to agree with a number of the comments made here. This mother cat seems on edge. The pinned back ears, the aggressive handling of the kittens, the biting of the necks and the rabbit kicks suggest that this is either a first time mother or a cat who really does not like others near her kittens and goes into over protective mode.

Why is the mother cat on edge? What does she stop and look at? Why, the woman hovering with the camera, of course! Her vocalising sounds like, "Kittens, come here!" but it could also mean, "Get away from my kittens!"

I have seen this behaviour in a lot of cat video's. It seems as though the mother is still quite young and is in a frisky mood and is using her kittens as a play thing, but seems to snap between playing and her maternal instincts and starts cleaning them.

These kittens and their mommy cat are so precious, she loves her babies.

When my kitty had kittens they always used to run around the house and hide from their momma when she was trying to give them baths, she had to go around finding them and dragging them out to lick clean

Wild love! Kittens : "Momma... Can't breath. We are here. Let us loose a little to breath..." 😂😂😀.

I've never seen a mama cat wrestle with her babies. BTW, those kittens are gorgeous!

Yes it is amazing to watch. I learn from my momma cat. She would lie down swoop the kitten and hold it llike human holds a baby. So clean. I let the kittens sleep in a cage while moma had her freedom. She would come get me every 2 hours so she could nurse them. If I didn't cage them she'd move them around the house.

"Kids,it's bath-time!" "But mooom..." :)

She's a good Mama who's talking to her babies. I know to some she seems a little overly rough but the babies would squeak a lot if she was hurting them at all, and she seems more as if she is playing with them whilst trying to groom them and honestly doesn't want to hurt them, as the only time they do squeak is because they don't want to be washed and want to wriggle free, and you see her immediately loosen her grip on them when she hears the squeak. It's cute how she keeps flipping over like she's saying "Where do you think your going? It's bath time!" Nom nom nom x3

This is not normal mother cat behaviour because the kittens are not misbehaving. If they were it might be understandable as this is how they would discipline them. This cat is confused for some reason and she is needlessly rough with them.

Oh, this is so nice! I could watch Mother kitties with their babies all day. When I was a teenager, my Family and I had the pleasure of taking in a stray Tiger Cat who gave birth to 3 perfect little babies in our house. What a joyous time that was ! We found 3 perfect homes among our friends, and it was the ultimate "happy ever after" story. Momma cat was ours until the end of her happy life and all 3 babies had great lives too.

As with any mother out there, she's proud of her little babies, and when it's time to let go of them, her blessings of deep love will always follow them wharever they go, and whatever they do, and it's her deep hope that her little ones will find a family who will feed and care for them, get them to a vet and will love them as much as she loves them. Animals do have emotions of love and feelings to, as you've seen.

What a natural loving mother, expressing her love for her two adorable kittens. How so many have voted down this video is beyond comprehension. Perhaps they are envious, and have never encountered love from their mother, or are mentally deranged. Wonderful video.

My cat looks exactly the same... She also used to throttle her kittens to the point they stopped drinking her milk and suffered failure to thrive.. It was prolonged n awful...they became terrified of her... Finally, I had to wean them early... And only allow her supervised contact with them....its been 18 months.. N she still goes into the room they used to stay in.. And call out to them... I have had her on contraceptives... And will b getting her spayed soon....

Shaynel, sorry to hear that about your cat. Like some human mother, some animal mothers just don't know what is happening to them. This poor cat mother is not in a healthy state of mind. Unfortunately the owner wasn't able to see her cat's behavior was too aggressive. Glad you did intervene. Spaying seems to be the only logical choice here, for you do not want to have this happen again. I gave you a thumbs up, because at least you understood and took proper action.

Garden Joy ....thx...was tough...people said to get rid of my cat....but she is lovely natured...just unfortunately not cut out to be a mother....she can't talk or explain why she did that....and I had to fight not to be angry at her... I found her as a kitten a few old...and she is loyal n loving with me....so I came to terms with her, accepted her good n bad points... N She will go for the snip. I find this vid tough...she looks exactly like the mother cat... Thx

Rashida Islam ...yes.. They went to a really loving home... The ginger one I called "adrak".. And the other one had markings which looked like a veil drawn across her face.. So I called her " nikaab"

Oh my goodness! She seems very playful 🤗

LOL, reminds me of when us kids were little and we were off somewhere with mum, long before the days of face wipes. When we went got chocolate on our faces her remedy was to spit on a handkerchief and hold us down, polishing us up good as new, we frckn hated it.
