The fact that her mom believed Frieda over her about the party was messed up. I mean clearly, she could see Frieda was the one in the party dress while the main girl was in her everyday clothes. She spoiled Frieda. Causing Frieda to want more and more attention. While the main girl was independent, her mother spoiled Frieda until it got out of control. I'm glad her mother and her sister learned their lesson. Especially, Frieda.

Agreed. Redemption is about making the effort to do better each day and fix your mistakes (and if they can't, accepting that), like Frieda and her mom are doing. No one is utterly irredeemable (in my opinion, they are still human if they reject chances for redemption), and writing them off as such will only bring more harm.
