I don't buy them never showing this side of themselves to the father earlier. An act practiced in private will always become public because it is a learned behavior. It's what they mean by a "Freudian slip" - you just can't help yourself because it's your default response to a situation and you have to be doing the equivalent of a mental fist in the mouth to prevent yourself from doing it by accident. Eventually people get distracted and those Freudian slips just happen. Either the dad wasn't paying enough attention, or he wasn't paying any attention. Also the whole "people pleaser" angle is bulls**t too. Literally the only person in the family she has any reason to want to please is the father.

If you get kicked out for your behavior, how do you have the balls to say "you shouldn't have told on me" not only was it your own actions that got you kicked out, OP is last person you should expect to have sympathy for you.

Well I definitely think the op was right in exposing her Treatment from her mother and brother. I mean I can understand that the mother can't emotionally connect with a child but that's still no excuse to treat them so badly. plus what were they thinking? that everything they were doing was never going to have consequences? because consequences do come to people rather they like it or not. and I think her getting a divorce from her husband would definitely be good consequences. also I don't think the grandparents have any idea what it is like to be treated like a slave so they don't have a right to try and guilt trip her. I also personally hope that she signed a pre-num so she doesn't get anything out of the divorce. also the mother ruined her own life. she could continue to hate her daughter but at the end of the day it's her own actions that ruined her relationship with her husband permanently. plus I definitely think she's gonna struggle to find work as well. I mean she hasn't been working for a while so that's another consequence of her action. I hope all of them rot on the same roof.

If you've set a standard of A's and B's, a C can seem like flunking simply because it's below par. If you're taking AP courses, those are classes that can also count as college credit under certain circumstances (often requiring a specific minimum grade in the overall class), so if one C paper dropped OP's class grade below that threshold, she may've passed the class for high school graduation purposes, but not received college credit (which could be called flunking).

(informative about USA type grades in case anyone doesn't know.) an A is around 100-90, B is 90ish-80, C is 80ish-70, D is 70ish-60, and F is anything below that. There is also a P for pass, I've mainly seen P for pass in special needs classes for struggling kids who definitely try their best to pass, but still dont quite hit the mark. but, as stated in other comments, AP classes are top tier classes, so it requires higher grades.

she should have told the dad about the grandparents as well, so he could have helped her get a no-contact restraining order against them as well.. She don't need that kind of shit in her teen life. Ooof, I just started imagining.. Like.. Her brother is gonna have a real tough awakening when he can't use his people-pleaser sister as a scapegoat at his grandparents house any more. They're gonna make him do all the shit she used to do, and he's gonna refuse, because he's a spoiled brat. Then they're gonna argue, his grades are gonna slip, they'll fight more, son does something outrageous (drugs, drunk driving, something "big"), grandpa dies soon after. Son gets blamed, presumably grandpa was too old and got so shook that he died, at least according to grandma and mom. He moves out, he gets a low income job for a few years and blames his mom for messing with his studies and trying to guilt him with grandpa's natural death. Stops visiting. Moves further. Becomes a trucker. The mom ends up watching The Mentalist reruns with grandma until grandma dies Then she just continues to live in the house. Alone. Isolated. Knowing no one from her family is even gonna come to her funeral when she finally croaks. ..crying.. alone :)

Crimes you can justify: -Murder -Theft -Slander/Libel -Driving while under the influence Crimes you cannot justify: -Infidelity -S**ual Assault -Fraud -Abuse The egg donor is an abuser, plain and simple. She outright abused OP just because she exists. People who abuse people just because they're a living person doing what they can to live and enjoy life are deserving of serious prison time. You can justify a murder with psychopathy or just to see what would happen. You cannot justify abusing someone just because they're alive. And the grandparents do not deserve any sympathy. Like OP said, they're an extension of the egg donor. In a way, so is her "brother." He willingly abused her for the same reason, because she exists. I bet you if something were to happen to him to the point he can't be of any help to the egg donor when she gets older, OP would slam the door and lock it tight in the egg donor's face. Even if OP did help, the egg donor would end up in a care home with the worst ratings ever.

No wonder the mom is like that, had a good examples in her own youth apparently judging from what kind of characters her parents were. You can tell a lot about a person when you see their parents, because kids are usually just an extension of their values and morals.

I wonder if she is biologically her father's. Maybe she looking so different and being unwanted was because she was a "mistake" made with someone else than her dad. Anyway, she is a good kid and deserves the best❤

I think the mother was just jealous. Her daughter was naturally slim and never gained any weight. So she tried to fatten her up with a lot of fatty foods. She was smart, so she told her, "Well, who cares about that? Your brother is smart and athletic!" Then you found your sport and suddenly you were both, and your skinny frame was filling out as well, so she hated you even more. She loved your brother like a child because he was a boy, she didn't care what he accomplished because she never saw him as a threat. But you were her daughter, you were another girl.

I mean, to much animal protein can poison you. It takes a lot, but just force eating to much isn't healthy. Not saying you should be vegan or vegetarian. But eating to much meat has related health complications.

I feel like she's an affair baby with how the dad said he knew the real reason why. The ex probably didn't tell the dad about the pregnancy until it was too late and they probably had an agreement to pretend until the kids were out of the house to split. So the egg donor is taking it out on the daughter. Edit: Probably should have listened further.

I can agree with everything here, other than the fact that you became vegan over it, i’ve got an extremely fast metabolism. I need to eat a lot to gain any weight, nobody’s built skinny it’s all metabolism, you need protein, so cutting all of it out of your life is not healthy.

The brother is 18 so I don't think they will have to fight for custody either of them (op and her big brother) At least where I live, the kid gets to pick what parent they want to live with at 14 years old i think (idk if that is the same everywhere)

story 1: some men like extremely skinny women while other men like skinny women and some like a little skinny women and some like average weight and others like a bit more weight and other men more and more weight and some like a little bit fat and others fat women and some like fat women and some like obese women in the end it is all about the finding the correct man who likes the certain type of women to me i like women who have a bit more weight although i still like other types of women i mostly care about personality though and personality in my eyes determines everything bad personality would destroy all of the good qualities of a person in my eyes as i would see people with bad personality as worthless human trash and i would not even give them the time of the day at all.
