This commerical is so good, I am still inspired by it 11 years after and I remember it clearly. The people who make this should promote Canada through this style

La Laurentide IS a Molson Beer. It was never a stand-alone company bought by Molson, it is simply the branding used for the Molson Canadian beer in Québec. It's the same exact beer under different names, both brewed by Molson.

When you think about Canadians, you might as yourself; why are we the way we are? Well the answers laying right under our feet, literally. Fact is, It's this land that shapes us. There's a reason why we run off the dock, instead of tippy toe in. It's because that water is frozen, six months a year. And that frozen water brought on a sport that we can call our own. This land is unlike any other. We have more square feet of awesomeness per person than any other nation on earth.

@joesakik88 What I feel is truly awesome in this story is that in Québec (read where you live), Molson knew the "Molson Canadian" branding wouldn't work and instead opted to name the beer "La Laurentide". I suppose not all of them share your enthousiasm about this country. :o
