    Thanks, Molly. You have inspired me. I'm just finishing driving school. Feeling so demoralized and unsure of myself. I will have to rebuild my confidence from the other side of zero. You have shown me one of the possibilities and that there are men out there who would give a woman a chance.

  • @femaleprofessionaldriver7650

    @femaleprofessionaldriver7650

    6 жыл бұрын

    Darlene Young Why are you demoralized? As a new driver, just take things step by step....one thing at a tme, dont get in a hurry. Be aware of your surroundings. Watch ur mirrors alot (watch ur trailer) make wide turns, slow and steady, look up also. Make sure u have clearance above u. Always have a way out. Watch all the road signs, ALWAYS BE AWARE OF THE SPEED LIMIT. Don't even go 5mph over. Troopers and DOT love to pull females over. You will love trucking, especially with your artistic talents and awareness. You will see things others dont see.

    MYB Misa Thank you for your kind words, and thank you for watching my video! There are quite a few companies in South Texas u could go with. Girrrrl, u should check out TCT trucking (Texas Chrome Trucks) in San Antonio, they have BEAUTIFUL trucks and haul sand. They would help get u certified in their orientation. Since you've driven since 99 u might be eligible. Watch their shows on Spanish discovery channel called Texas Trocas, u can find it on KZread. Also Stevens transport has a sand division, they run South Texas. And u might try eagle river transport.

    Hi female professional driver! I'm a girl about to get my cdl next month and I am so interested in the oil fields, but so many people tells me to not to, I think it is a good starter but I'm a little hesitant. Could you please tell me how was your experience and some ups and downs? Thank you so much and keep it up with the girl power! 💪💪💪

    Karina Aragon Thank you so much for watching my video!! A lot of the frac sand hauling is going to hauling boxes of sand instead of pneumatic trailers. I think sandbox requires 1 or 2 years experience, as do most pneumatic companies. But u can google frac sand hauling jobs and see what u find. When i was just out of school a company called Nabors was recruiting new grads. They do some kind of oil field hauling. What's hard about the oilfields is dirt roads with deep ditches, mud, avoiding getting stuck. Watching ur trailer track. And also remember, i like Trans Am as an over the road company to get ur rookie year out of the way. They hire recent grads. Get it girl! It will change your life!!

    Female Professional Driver thank you so much for your reply! I surely will make it happen, I'm looking into a company that it's hiring in Odessa (without experience, which makes me wonder how reliable it is), they went to my school but since I only take classes during weekends I missed the orientation. I'll keep looking for information and once I get my cdl I'll let you know what my decision is. You're so inspiring! 😊💪

    Wear your resperator please! In Colorado we are having a huge spike in lung disease. Mostly males 20-30 years old that work on rigs. Silica sand is the common denominator but studies will take 13 more years. Be safe and teach the younger people coming into this industry.

    If a woman can do the job, then they deserve a shot. I work with women, I treat them the same as I would a guy. I dont make any extra effort to help them. If i see they need help then i will help the same if it were another male that needs help. If it becomes a problem, then I allow them to fail, just the same as I do the men that cant hang. I also explain to the ones that cant hang, you better figure it out, or your time will be short. No ammout of tears, no ammout of pleading, no "I have kids" changes my mind. You either fail or succeed based on how hard you work, point blank. I find that I get more respect from them if I treat them like an employee and let them fail or shine on their own.

    Mrs Florida Scratcher there are a few good resources for finding jobs in Frac sand hauling. Craigslist always has a pretty good number of ads and a lot of owner operators that are looking for drivers. Look under Frac sand hauling jobs. Also on Facebook there's a group called Texas sand haulers you can ask to join that group and get a lot of insight there. And also you can just Google Frac sand hauling or Frac sand jobs and find a lot there also. If you have two years Driving Experience a lot of companies will go ahead and train you on the logistics of the sand hauling and they will also get you your safety certifications and oilfield certifications and their orientation so it's really pretty easy. Most places like for you to stay out for sometimes three weeks at a time or 4 weeks or 6 weeks and then take a week off so that's the only down thing is that you have to be away from home for a long time but it is a good money maker.

Or u can use a template with different themes, such as my video "Holiday Greetings"

    Only way to make money hauling frac sand is to be an owner-operator. You'll lose your house and go in debt being a company driver. Our company pays us peanuts while they hire and pay owner operators 10xs the load pay we get for the same work. I loaded and hauled 3 loads one night and made $275. OO did the exact same, same load point, same frac pad and made $700...from our company. Let that sink in.
