Mollie Summerland puts the LeMieux Self-Cool Saddle Pad to the test

We asked international event rider and 5* winner, Mollie Summerland to put our Self-Cooling saddle pad through its paces on a hot day XC schooling✨
The innovative Feel Cool fabric is activated by moisture and gives a cooling effect as well as wicking away sweat and dissipating heat 💦 The Carbon Mesh spine insert reduces pressure and allows heat to rise and escape through the top of the pad💨
We were delighted with the results from our test and saw the underside of the saddle pad fabric dropping by 5.5 degrees in temperature after a tough schooling session🌡
Available now in Dressage and Close Contact styles in a variety of colours including Navy

Take the horses temperature, properly, before and after; and then we'll talk about whether or not the pad works.

yes it is. a fit horse should have its ribs lightly covered when standing. but when galloping and jumping ribs should be visable. these horses do not have much fat so even when standing you can see ribs sometimes depending how theyre standing. but this horse is completely fit and healthy. all that would be covering the ribs is fat which isnt necessary actually necessary for high level eventing horses. his body score would be a 4, which is how horses in alot of excersize should be. horses doinng moderate excersize should be 4.5, all other horses should be 5.

Yes, that is a very fit working horse! I wouldn't expect a lesson or light worked horse to show rib but a lot of eventers do when centering, jumping and galloping but shouldn't be very viable when standing

I think his ribs are showing a bit to much, not a professional opinion just what it looks like, not trying to hate

What’s the horse’s temp, as it’s quite important re: the horse? Oh it’s just for the rider’s comfort, not horse.. eh? Interesting.. 👎🏻 NOT
