I love my chem teacher, but this guy explained this topic and I understood it within seconds of him showing examples and working, instead of saying a lot of not so important stuff like scenarios. Give me the formula the directions and I'm good to go and if I'm not I'll ask questions
Can we just take a second and recognize this guy as the literal GOAT of all chem teachers
On 4:42 what did he divided to get his answer?
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an amazing video/lecture on How to Convert Moles to Atoms/Atoms to Moles in AP/General Chemistry. Conversions are important in all levels of Chemistry. This is an error free video/lecture on KZread TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
You are a very great teacher thank you!
this was more informational and easier to follow than anything i did in class thanks man
thanks man got some homework done with your help!

Thank you so much for this tutor session! Great Job!!

Question: How do you determine the exponents in the final answer?
@anikaholliday
Жыл бұрын
Determined by the significant numbers in the final answer.
Wow! Absolutely amazing what technology can do! Thank you so much.
What happens to the exponents in the third problem? 10^24 is on top and 10^23 is in the denominator. How do we get rid of them? Is there a scientific notation rule that I am forgetting?
@olgac8211
4 жыл бұрын
if you divide these numbers, you will get 10^24-23 = 10^1 = 10

Thank you so much- this help me a lot 😍😘
what if the problem gives you the moles but in scientific notation? how would you solve that
@tanvi.deokar
4 жыл бұрын
when you divide in scientific notation, you subtract exponents( 10^24/10^23=10^1(10)) but when you multiply you add.
thank god, now i can pass my chemistry homework
why do you divide the last one by 17 too?
At 4:46, my calculator was a decimal place off, getting an answer of 1.328. Any reason for this? Most other calculations work out to the right answer. I know I can check my answer by plugging in the number to go from moles>atoms, but just curious

where did u get the 6.022? 😢
shouldn't the first answer be 3x10^24 atoms becuase of the least amount of sig figs in the problem is 1?
I can't figure out why we start with 10^23 but in the final answer it's 10^24. How does that happen?

stacey finch u start with 23 because it’s Avogadro constant
@ousmanfitness8132
4 жыл бұрын
It changes in the first example, because when he multiplied 5 x 6.022 that answer is actual 30.11 but he wants to write it as 3.011 for the scientific notation. In order for him to do that, he also has to add 1 to the power 10*23 so that it is still the same number. I explained it as best I could
