It says that the relation between mass and mole is Mole = substances mass upon molar mass Molar mass of carbon is 12 u Than finding mass of 1 mole carbon will be Mole x molar mass = mass So 12 g of carbon = 1 mole

Great question! Avogadro's number is 6.022 x 10^23. So one mole of anything has that many particles in it.

Actually,it was deleted from cbse syllabus in 9th..but in coaching institutes and all for competitive preparation,in 9th class also mole concept was taught in detail.
