Love moissanite stones. Changed over me and my wife's wedding rings from diamonds to moissanite. The sparkle and shine is amazing. I'd recommend moissanite to anyone. And the cost is so much better to get moissanite. Just my humble opinion as some one who has purchased both.

moissanite saves the day for men. Why do I need to spend mad money on a ring? You marry the person because you love them, not how big of a ring can i get. You show how much you love her by being loyal, loving, and faithful, not look at the diamond ring my man got me, he must really love me because this must of cost a fortune.

I have both moissanite and diamond jewerly. Most of which are in pave setting. When comparing both I've noticed that diamonds have more intense scintillation. They have a broader white light refraction off the surface of the stone In a much more clustered effect if that makes sense. My moissanite pieces seem to have smaller scattered white/rainbow sparkles that make it appear more fuzzy? I personally prefer the crisp larger seemingly singular flashes of white light that eagerly jump off each diamond when you view them at different angles. It's like they flash out at you like a bunch of paparazzi taking pictures lol. Moissanite does have really good and very bright white light refraction of the surface but at the right angles. It behaves differently then diamonds. But that's OK because it's not a diamond. It's it's own gem. With its own properties, a beautufl gem in its own way. But ya that's my observations lol SO.. Moissanite = smaller scattered sparkles of color/white light. Diamonds = more crisp/larger/singular white flashes that bounce off each stone. But these are visual differences I've notices with pave set stones. I'm pretty sure the differences are much less noticeable in solitares. But regardless great vid. Man And comparison. You should make a video comparing diamonds and moissanite in pave settings to see if you can see the same differences I do. I'd love to hear your opinion. I also wonder if moissanite can be cut in such a way to prioritize really good scintillation over fire. Or if the double refraction prevents this? Regardless great video again and sorry for the long ass comment lol.

I have only one small earring set that has actual diamonds. I have two Moissanite pieces and they have so much shine. The problem however is nobody seems to be accepting or hyped about Moissanites- it's a problem of perception, but also fashion culture...so things like being called a poser, a faker etc even if u upfront about what you're wearing not being diamonds , gets exhausting lol it's like these kids are hyped on rap culture , but don't even understand the ethics of diamond farming, and that's ignoring the amount of people in that social scene that wear knockoffs anyway. I just like Moissanite, but admit it's not for everyone and I do have to say, the consistency of Moissanite quality from dealer to dealer varies..it can be truly hard knowing who to get , say, a proper Moissanite clasp / chain from online and it ends up being a bit of a read all fine lines and roll of the dice. Overall I love them and think they are beautiful but people are clearly not educated on what the differences are so videos like yours hopefully help.

De Beers Mining Company has the diamond game in a monopoly. They the ones that started that campaign “A Diamond is Forever” to our grandparents and great grandparents that they are rare and valuable. They sold that illusion because they own 80-95% of the mines. If you want investment pieces, just stick with gold. Lab made stuff are nice as well. I’ll never knock anyone for getting they shine on. If you factor in that moissanite is almost always VVS1 amd clarity D and even a LAB made diamond is usually VS2 and not even D color and cost 1000x more, the answer becomes a no brainer. I also get VVS1 moissanite at as cheap as 2 dollars a carat and a 4 carat rock for 6 bucks.... a diamond 4 carat is almost $100,000 for the same VVS1 , D color quality at 4 carat size. Now I would like to compare a VVS1 diamond to a VVS1 moissanite to see if they are dramatically different or not. Still doesn't justify the price when I can make a 3000 quality moissanite stones on a medallion for way cheaper than an iced out diamond medallion which would cost almost a million dollars or more.

So I rather have moissanite then nothing but after having them and my real diamonds I just feel everything is fake next to it. Because we compare everything to diamond. Even though knowing all I know about it and it being it’s own stone I appreciate it but I still feel it’s fake. Bc at the end of the day we do use them as a diamond. I mean we even test them on diamond testers to make ourselves feel better. Also if u dig and do a little more research the numbers on the mohs hardness scale the numbers are not equally distanced. The gap from 9-10 is a very big gap on the scale so the hardness is a big difference. Which is why the moissanite doesn’t hold up well over time like a diamond would. I also prefer the “whiteness” from the diamond vs the fire (fake) look from the moissanite. I rather buy cvd and pray they are not fucking me saying they are natural. Very good video though and I agree w all ur points.

I also feel that people come watch these videos to justify their moissanite purchase. The same way they do their fake beats 🎧 headphones. "Why are you thinking about re-sale / investment value on an engagement ring?" Well because a D flawless 3x non, will always hold value and can very well increase in value. The diamond market fluctuates just like any market. You can sell it on a rainy day, upgrade, etc. Its not wasted money like a lab grown or moissanite where the "buy buck" value is scrap value.....

  • @Cubaknowloco

Even with upgrade , based on symbolism they will rarely use that ring, D Flawless ring as a trade. Based on the example you are using is like one of the most expensive rare specs. The person who buys a super high grade diamond engagement will mostly likely not need to sell a this ring on a rainy day cause they clearly have enough money to get them through a rainy day. No wife will be like yes sell out first engagement ring for an upgrade. The point being an engagement ring should not be looked as an investment it’s an act of symbolism unless you break up it’s a rarely sold.

Right where you show the moissanite versus the diamond you could tell automatically which one's the diamond the boys the night is more cloudy the diamond is more crystal clear and has somewhat of a color coming off of it like a rainbowish but that can occur in fake also so to me I think the ring is real but I think the other diamond is moissanite because it doesn't have the clarity and I can see that on my phone

Btw diamonds are only priced at what they are because of hype, yeah you have your rare stones and cuts. But it’s literally all from marketing back in the day. “A diamond is for ever” right? Yeah so is a fing mossianite 😂

Diamonds are priced this way because, people, just like you, have given it value. Hate it or love it, that is the way it is. Just like Gold, or any other non-essential commodity.

Dude the moissanite looks like it has a fingerprint or smudges on it. Nice try though. I own many moissanites and diamonds and it is very hard to tell the difference plus you can get them in many different colors than diamonds which are way out of most people's price range! Screw the diamond stigma there are hundreds of awesome stones that will not break your ass.

I ordered two sets of moissanites earrings from Harlem bling for Black Friday, together it was under 100 dollars. I opened it up and was surprised because when I opened it the room wasn't well lit but the shine was incredible. I'll break it down like this. Just about anyone that sells jewelry fake or real uses lights to make the stone look much more shinier than what it really is. You take the stone home and you don't get that same shine. These sets of earrings have that kind of shine in a dimly lit room, under light or outside in the sun it shines like crazy. If you're in the hood I don't suggest wearing them unless you have protection 🤣🤣🤣
