@@lilnarwhal5869 You literally just skip a boss… You don’t interact with his mechanics, don’t learn his move set, etc. Obviously it’s fine cuz the game allows it, but in no way is this “getting good” as the original comment implied.

Great, now do it with +3/+1 capped weapons! Personally my strat was blood antspur +3 with poison mist and a pulley crossbow with blood and rot bolts. That saying I only did this because I don't have Torrent on my no-Melina run character. Would've done the Torrent cheese if I hadn't already committed to the bit. Really curious to see how not having Torrent is going to go in the DLC.

thats actually part of my plan! i have a +0 upgrade build that i was going to replicate this on (although i do level up on that build). The plan for that was more bleed and the antspur rapier if i couldnt do it fast enough. im at the fire giant on that build but i could get to mohg now and do it.

I'm trying to do this in a shield only run (no spells or incantations), got any tips?

i havent tried shield only but i really wanted to! I cant remember if GinoMachino killed mohg in his shield only video but I would probably look into that and have patience
