Where I have been? I listened to this video clip in August 13, 2019, nearly 41 years after I left my homeland and I got highly emotional listening to this wonderful music. Rest In Peace Master Lotfi. You continue to be with us as movement of your fingers, arms, head, entire body and soul, and the talent of music are well alive and represented in what Sheyda Women Ensemble does. Bravo for the ladies who are keeping this beautiful traditional music still alive. Can you imagine playing almost 50 minutes of music using their memories and no notes! Speechless!!! And, thank you saimone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@saeedvazirian , pretty face from Austria, dress code for women was established since 1979 revolution, then Islamic republic. Scarf and long sleeves are MANDATORY. Plus, women are not allowed to sing with out accompanying man's voice. the solo woman's singing is forbidden by decree or Shariaa ''LAW''. Every concert must go through rigorous permitting process by the government. Despite all restrictions by Government , the greater historical Iranian music has progressed since 1979.
