Yes many of us consider him as a hero just except the extremist mullas. They study the laws of Jews (Einstein) but they abuse the one who belongs to Pakistan... (just a reference, I'm not saying that we are against Jews or Christians or Hindus)

Remember the golden age of islam? how come we were able to produces philosophers, scientist and mathemeticians that time? because we believe in ijtihad and the concept of qiyas which helped us immensely in thinking rationally and we were not bound to only what our ancestors preached but put our own efforts to find solutions to problems. What the muslim word is experiencing now is all beacuse of limited thinking.

I came to know about him while I was in tenth standard. I was literally shocked to know that their is an brown Asian who worked on unified field theory and given Nobel prize. A scientist is admired for his work & they are borderless so it doesn't matter what political people of Pakistan thinks about him.

Bro, it's good you think so. But imagine if he were not Ahmadi, or not even muslim, say a non muslim born in Pakistan, would you still have been that proud? I'm well aware how despite his monumental achievements, he was not recognized by his own country as well as he should have, just because he happened to be an Ahmadi. According to modern physics, four "fundamental_forces exist in nature. "Electromagnetic interaction is one of these. The "weak interaction - responsible, for example, for the beta decay of nuclei - is another. In 1968, these two interactions were unified to one single theory, called "electroweak, by professor Abdus Salam and the same time by Glashow & Weinberg. My teacher also takes name of abdus Salam while discussing chapter force, under additional subsection GUT, and as only physics Nobel laureate of Pakistan ( you can cross check notes of 11th of abhay Kumar of school of physics, Patna Bihar India). But there one shameful thought of great personality is understanding of 2nd class citizen on the basis of religion. Statement of abdul Salam between 5:23 and 6:33 is testimony to prove that non-muslims are 2nd class citizen in Pakistan. In India when someone declared as non-hindu then they will struggle (who are you to give certificate of Hindu) and they will adopt separate identity (like progressive Hindu or other) proudly(I need not your certificate)
