Our KZread channel features the Behind the Scenes with the team who work at FarmFLiX, including the Founder John McClean and our resident farmer Mr Alan Clyde. This blog features a crew outing to County Cork, Ireland during first cut 2021 where a long haul and harvester problems have the lads caught for what to do for a few hours. It doesn't take them long to find out that a few members of the local Mogeely Vintage Club are picking a few acres with some classic kit so it would be rude not to spin past to find out more. Featuring a few mint pieces of kit from the Ford TW-20, the Mercedes-Benz MB Trac, John Deere 7810, Massey Ferguson 390T and two classic harvesters including a rare Fiatagri Hesston it's all happening while the sun is splitting the trees. Stick with it to the end when the boys get over-excited about some Volvo shovels, including a rare 642 built in 1964, when they catch up with their planned silage crew for the day at John O'Flynn's.

Unreal kit Unreal craic I’m 24, I drew with timber sided single axles remember throwing a car tyre in behind the ram at the front to stop the slap 😆 werent as bad on the ears as the redrock replacements. never had a close one with them thank God. Used to draw with fiats. 680’s 880, 70-90, 80-90, 100-90 all 2wd’s.

Fraser trailers are a northern Irish thing. Single axle wooden sided Gillespie and sixsmiths are what we learned our trade on down in Carlow every job from drawin silage then the silage extensions were taken off for grain , beet and dung . The good old days with Ford 7610’s zetors and deutz dx’s .
