Thank you so much ! Followed each step, and it worked like a charm😊I also suspect it was the hot side that was causing the drip, but replaced both. Spent $30 at Lowes, about 45 minutes (watching video, shopping, and replacing) vs. the plumber's estimate of $360-$375. Thank you again.....from a very poorly paid teacher💜

Your inclusion of the words "High Arc" in the caption helped me quickly identify correct video for my faucet. Replaced both under 15 minutes. Thank you.

I liked this video. It helped me by knowing what I was getting into. BUT, the cold water cartridge WOULD NOT COME out. Period. Finally the intelligent side of the brain took over from the brute force side. I needed more upward force than the grip of the pliers and my strength could give. So, I took a large flat washer that fit the handle screw and put it on the screw and screwed it as far as it would go into the old cartridge. I got a hammer with the straighter claw and found a block of wood that was basically level with the top of the cartridge stem. I slid the end of the claw under the washer just past the screw and pulled on the hammer. It popped out like a Trident missile. Fulcrum and lever. Just wish I had thought of that before I about busted every blood vessel in my head....

This was a VERY helpful video indeed. I felt like you were teaching and instructing me directly from my kitchen. You explained everything so well and took your time doing it! Even showed close ups which were needed. Thank you! I'm another woman who is going to look into doing this myself. Couldn't have dreamed of it before I saw your video! You're the man!

you also have a spring and rubber umbrella seal down in that hole that you was cleaning out ,that is the seal that's causing your drip .

I found it impossible to stop the drip from a high arc 2 handle kitchen faucet by Moen. Both cartridges replaced. Still dripped. Unscrewed aerator and water poured out. When the water is shut off, a few ounces of water rests on top of the aerator. Water seeping through the aerator causes the "drip" - about every 30-45 seconds. Bought a new aerator. Still drips. When I unscrew the aerator and let the water drain out then screw the aerator back on no drip. If there's some other fix, would appreciate knowing what it is.

How do I find the Model # to order the correct cartridge replacement? (I've looked everywhere and there is no model number visible. I would hope they are universal but that's not likely.) Is it smarter to replace both cartridges?

I'm not sure on than Xena because I kept the packaging for warranty information. I would call Moen and ask them if they have it listed somewhere. If they don't maybe you can take a picture of it, send it to them and they can identify the model. Hope this helps-thanks 4 watching!

I know this is a year old question, however, it may help someone else. I found a part number on the bottom of "stem" or "cylinder" (the part that needs replaced.) So once you remove the part you want to replace, check the bottom of it for a part number.

Turn the water on for just a second the cartridge will pop right out . Put a towel over it first. You will have no problem. Stop being a scaredy cat . You won't melt if a drop of water hits you. Rockies.
