Thanks for the positive feedback. You won't believe it ... I kept pressing at the button every week or so, but nothing happened ... but about 2 months ago it finally started working and since then it works fine ... absolutely mysterious ... but to be honest ... there was never a really great need to have this button ;-)

Thank you. You pointed out some important functional details, like design elements that might limit the downward angles of the shower heads, and style details, like the absence of chrome on some parts. I'm sorry that the pause button didn't work. This is a feature that I would want. Overall, very helpful-thank you.

Today, got Moen's shower head rubber washer. Installed and it keeps the shower had in position. Removed the water flow restricter. Tested and the water flow is much stronger. Not sure which version I will keep. I have seen some posts, customers actually not removing the water saving device but making more holes in the plastic water saver until they get desired water flow. The restricter is a 3 piece set (rubber washer/flat piece of plastic and restricter with holes) located at the entrance side of the ball joint. Takes a bit force to get it out.

I have this exactly shower head from Moen .Can you remove the water flow? Love the look but the presure suck.

I had it installed a couple of weeks ago. It looks very nice. The water flow was extremely soft! I had to stay in the shower longer so the purpose of water conservation was totally defeated. However, this morning I removed the water control valve and now it's great.

How did you remove it? I just tried to do the same thing and it seems lodged in the ball joint and I was afraid I would break something. The pressure on this thing is terrible.

@@beautybynbee6196 I just removed the restricter in this very model. There is a metal connector with a ball joint, the part you screw onto the pipe coming out of the wall. You take a screwdriver or something relatively thin, stick it through the hole in the ball part, and push hard. The restricter will come out the open end (where water first enters from the pipe). Good luck.

The only issue I’ve encountered is where when I turn the main head to the left or right a little too much water sprays out at the connection to the water supply

It fits for standard size ... I didn't need an adapter

Just installed my Moen engage with magnetix after being sketched out Fortunately, without any adjustments, the water pressure is much more acceptable than this video indicates. The button on the wand turns it on and off

Haven't found it, but in the upper part (above the joint) there's something that looks like an inlet, but haven't been able to remove. But maybe it's just scaled and I have to push harder from below (you can push through the joint with a screw-driver), but I didn't want to brake it.

Well I like to design this may be sometime in my life to replicate the understanding of what a showerhead should be but I can do it so I’m going to make a video about how to do something with it.

Nope ... still not working ... but I don't need it. I've some kind of old plumbing and I don't like to much pressure on these old pipes anyway - hence I use the main handle to turn on / off.

Problems with the switch on the hand held shower should be reported to Moen. They will replace the unit. If there are enough complaints they will refer the problem back to their proper design people.

Mine is broken also but doesn't come out with as much pressure.

sorry can't remember ... I moved two times since and left this shower head there ....

The on/off switch on the hand held shower head does not last very long before it stops working. The review on the YOU TUBE video shows this exact problem (not working). Except for this the overall dual heads work fine and installation was easy.

Thanks for the feedback. Surprisingly in my case the switch didn't work for many weeks or even months ... but now ... after almost half a year of usage I tried again an it's working now ... what a surprise ... maybe the question is only ... for how long ... ;-)

Sounds like Moen should do what many other manufacturers do and build the "pause" function into the selector dial at one end of the spray options, which should never fail.

Total Fail Moen! Saw this at Home Depot and just installed it. The handheld sprayer just flops off. Seems to be a couple design flaws one being the weak magnet the other is the groove on the handheld showerhead is too narrow for the "hook" "notch" whatever you want to call it, to fit in to. I also looked up reviews on other sites and seems to be a common problem. One person stated that it fell off and slammed into their glass door so potential for shattering glass Moen. Seriously fix this it's so lame to have a company design and build something that works then when put into production cost cuts cause failing design changes!

It's not that bad. We have two women in our household with long hair and they like it. Could be little bit more water, but it's really ok.

@@allcheckout There are two versions now as well; 26008 is 1.75 gpm, 26009 is 2.5 gpm.

@@allcheckout I should say, you said yours was 2.0; apparently 26008 changed to 1.75 gpm in around 2018.

Installed this model and its a overpriced piece of junk,it leaked from both shower heads and less then 8 hours the hose failed leaked from the sheathing after 2 uses.Moen quality has taken a nose dive for sure.
