fyi mine beeped too called redcat did a rebind with all settings at zero had to do it 2x then it worked fine.

That st dr button is dual rate

The beeping on the radio can be resolved. When using a brand new set of good batteries, the radio thinks there's a voltage issue. Simply put in slightly used batteries instead, and the beeping will go away. This issue occurs because the radio has a connector to accept recharegable batteries, and fresh AA batteries fail it's checks and trigger that warning tone every 7 seconds.
