Being from "the wrong side of the pond", I am forced to watch these shows in a mirror. This gives me the illusion that all these cool cars are left hand drive and could possibly be racing somewhere in North America. Despite the mirror effect, nothing could take away from the pro level editing and synchronicity of the trackside and in-car footage so kindly provided by the yellow car. I'm sure you made him proud as I nearly fell out of my LazyBoy while he was drifting around the course. I would like to have seen more Capri footage, as that is where my true love lies, and they have become extinct here in the states. Thanks, and thumbs up. (As I'm already subscribed)

Wool tufting is an often overlooked method to visualise airflow. With that & a basic manometer it's fairly easy to work out where to pick up air & where to return it. Air won't flow without a pressure drop!

As a master mechanic having spent much of my career working beside complete idiots, it amazes me how many times I've seen radiators and or condensers replaced with a total disregard for the air control devices around them. All that foam, rubber and clip on deflector stuff they chuck in the recycle bin with the radiator is important! Pressure drops. High pressure in front, low pressure behind and ALL the air going through, not around. I honestly have no idea what "wool tufting" is but I'm going to spend the next hour studying it. Thanks S B Wool tufting ... I totally get it now!

@@mikefpe Aarons old 2 litre Pinto powered Capri could do mid 52's at Brands SC on 48 Webers using our completely reliable SOHC Pinto 'budget' engine making about 230 hp, then there's a typical 1.6L cvh engined Mk3 Escort of ours also on 48's and super reliable with 185 hp and Lee Allen driving, he used to get mid 53's on every lap, not too shabby with both cars on road tyres. @@mikefpe tell me about it! those Falcon and Toyo road tyres we had to use in various modprod series weren't much good, on slicks we could have been 2 seconds a lap faster at the Brands short circuit, that was 25 years ago in the mid 1990's

Should hv done without the background music. I'd rather hear them beautiful engine sounds. Great footage anyway.

It’s the old mechanical fuel injection system. That’s the distribution unit that squirts fuel into the tb’s via the clear pipes. 😎😎😎
