Modified 2013 Mazda Miata NC: Unique Roadster

Hello everyone,
In this video we have our good friend phrankie to share his awesome build with us. He chose a Mazda Miata as his weapon of choice and we absolutely love it! I will be honest that i never thought about the newer Miata but this one changed my mind. I really enjoyed the modifications he has done to this build. The changes he has done are really driver focus and he continues to work on driver mod above all. I think they are great chassis and more people should consider it because it has nice aftermarket support and great handling car! Thank you Phrankie for the support man, keep making videos when you go to the track brotha! I appreciate all the support to everyone who has been supporting the channel. Much love and appreciation to everyone. It really means so much! #automotiveanatomy

NCs rock! Refined, capable, nice size (not too cramped) and with quite a bit of storage room. I have a 2009 NC FL 2.0 Sport 6-speed soft-top and we LOVE it. We've driven to Italy and France so it's road-trip capable - like a baby Gran Turismo. My first was an NA - I spent a fortune adding stuff to the NA that is STANDARD on the NC Sport - eg. leather/alcantara seats, wind deflector, trunk lighting, strut braces, Bilsteins, 17" rims ... My favourite upgrades - 2-DIN Naviceiver with touchscreen, short shift (yes, even shorter!), hard door lock buffers, K&N air filter, LED interior lighting, gas struts for the hood (bonnet). All the best, Rob

@ShawnDon 97 I dont know about go kart, ive heard that said, but its just such a great car to drive and yes, low driving possition, near 50/50 weight distribution, planted at speeds, as great on a motorway as it is round town, echos of the 60s roadster feel but in such a reliable package. Kick of torque at 3, 500 revs, I could go on. I admit it-im addicted, im even sitting in it now about to pop down the top for the ride home. Sports exauhst and aftermarket wheels on my particular otherwise stock car complete the picture. I havent got bilstein shocks but the ride is just right-firmer than my jag xk8 and just right for real world roads. 💘✌

@ShawnDon 97 hey listen ive just driven back now through st johns wood in central London to North London (mill hill) and im still buzzing off it lol. But what a great little car!! Its nice to tell someone because not everyone gets it. As always, this car does what i need it to do in traffic so well-but the open road towards the end of my journey was bloody fantastic when you let the taps out on the straight and round the corners its bye bye to everyone. She loves those corners!!

NC's are cool looking and yours is really nice..but you do know the hard top is retractable, right? LOL! I like the nC's a lot and could pick one up with low miles for $15 - 20K 2 years ago, but it was really hard to find any with a manual transmission. So, I ended up getting a ND Club, RF with BBS Package with 8,300 miles on it for $25,900.00 and love it! It's in the shop getting turbo'd now!

Yeah, I just got an 06' NC, and it's a fun little car to tool around in. I have a 740whp 335i E92, and that's my pride and joy. But this car is economical fun, which is so freeing. I can beat on it, without worrying about it, because it will take it. I really like everything on his black NC, EXCEPT the gigantic wing, which I think looks horrible. It's just too big for that little car, and I don't see how they can say it balances out the car. It doesn't!!! It's way over kill for the car, and throws it well out of balance. I think a lower smaller wing would look so much better on it. That wing is so big, it looks ridiculous, and makes it hard for me to take the car seriously. But outside of that, I really like everything else about this car. Hope he doesn't take offense, as I don't mean it in that way. Good vid.

@@AutomotiveAnatomy I know he does, but having a higher spring rate (or even equal) in the rear on the NC doesn’t really work with the suspension geometry. That and 12k/7k is a common track spring rate setup for the NC, so 13k/8k makes sense. But 13k/18k is all sorts of weird...
