Hair dryer or hot water (be careful the whole fig might become very loose)

tbh this is very similar to what sentinel did with their peter parker (specifically the legs), other than that this works pretty well, maybe you can sand some parts like the legs or the cuts in the torso to make the texture more smooth, and it's their figure, they can do whatever then want with it
