India simply can’t afford to have a closer relations between Russia and china and its in its best interest to keep them apart or keep Russia in India’s loop. Europe and US live way far ahead from both china and Russia and India don’t have tat luxury and by all means Russia is non interfering and a trustable ally at all odds.

West pushed India towards the USSR and the ussr helped India during our tough time. It's not Putin it's Russia for us. India can forgive it's enemy but never forget its friends.
