On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

As it turns out, many of the dinosaurs didn't die immediately. The collision would have created a lot of smoke and dust debris, which trapped much of the heat from the sun, and the sun killed stuff over the course of many years. Still not everything, though. Many dinosaurs survived even that, and now they're birds. Mammals survived well. Especially smaller ones, and ones which were capable of hibernation. Indeed, our ancestor and every ancestor of every living species today survived the collision and its after effects. Here we are.

I was in the german airforce, and we still had 2 of them around at the EADS facilities for experimental purposes. Mig29s are beautiful aircraffts and i never understood why we choose to modernize the f4 Phantom again instead of modernizing these beauties. Probably a political thing. They where part of the east german army called NVA and where never used by the west german and now united germanies "bundeswehr". You even have the NVA markings on the plane in this video. 110 Phantoms were modernized in the Luftwaffe whereas there were only 24-something MiG-29s. They put a Hughes-APG-65-Radar, AMRAAMS and other stuff on the Phantoms so I guess it was too complicated and costly to integrate all this on a Russian jet. Also the Phantom already had an aerial refueling capability.

Not because you were "splashed" but we all know that the DCS MiG-29 (and Su-27) aren't really go-to aircraft - but when equipped with similar missiles, it really evens the playing field - much in the same way you'd expect it in real life. With real-life combat, you've always had Western aircraft going up against substandard opponents whose countries don't really train their pilots so it's not as though they've gone up against Soviet/Russian since the Korean War.

very useful tip i learned last last week. You can lock *air* targets on the HSD and they will show on your HUD. With or without a target lock. gotta align HMCS for better accuracy also no, you cant track multiple targets. Just one.

Great video idea. Also I think I’ve just realised why I’ve been having trouble with the F-16 recently I’ve been slapping the jammer on during startup by accident as it’s near the rwr switches, hence why my targets get picked up by awacs and I can’t lock them for the life of me. 🤣😂 I was switching bars of scan and elevation Frantically 🤣🤣

I wonder if it ever tripped up a real pilot? It is funny, but it is the sort of ergonomics mistake that loses battles! In all seriousness, this is the sort of thing simulation is great for finding. This is a legitimate issue with the F16. There should probably be some sort of indication on the radar monitor that the jammer is on, and it will interfere.

Can you try split throttle with the unreleased thrust vectoring f-22 model, it would essentially be the same as powerful 3d thrust vectoring, and would definitely be dominant.
