That's what happens when you give one of its subseries to a different studio. I don't mind CoD being different from subseries to subseries, but they massively screwed things up by overlapping the studios. IW makes MW, Treyarch makes CW, SH makes the other ones, then everyone can stick to the style/etc they prefer. Instead we have... whatever MW3 is.

Bro the BAL 27! Advanced Warfare was such a vibe, it received so much hate but IMO, It was the Better of the Jetpack era games.
