MW2019 was the best COD they made, just ruined by hackers

One thing I miss the most from COD2019 is the clean iron sights. For some reason all the iron sights from this game were clean and not too bulky. Now it’s like they’re just coming back from thanksgiving.

Without this game I would’ve never had the confidence to get better at FPS games. Especially with players like Futives and Handler showing the endless possibilities and potential of getting gud.

The nostalgia value this game holds is impeccable

the best MW by far. being able to stim to keep your tac sprint up is such a nice feature and core not taking 300 bullets to kill is also a plus side

I miss 2019. Bought my new home and a new call of duty. So many late late nights with the boys...good memories that couldn't be replicated on the cod's after that.

I miss MW19 a lot. It represented Infinity Ward at its best - a significant upgrade in graphics pushing the franchise forward, audio that was a labour of love with incredible detail and polish, weapons that struck the right balance between fast handing while feeling like they had weight and punchiness when you fired them. Good map design with not a lot of real misses. Fantastic gameplay innovations in modes like Gunfight. It was the Call of Duty that brought me back to my days in high school, playing MW2 on the 360 with friends after school every day for hours. I still remember the smile on my face in the first few games on launch, brought upon by the feeling of "we back, baby".

Man i love this game its such a pure perfection in everything the engine, the audio, the sfx, the guns, the perk system, the graphics, the colors, the movement (which is the best of all time) i hope they return to this engine dude

I remember coming home from high school, which was my final year, and immediately jumping online with my buddies playing until the early hours of the morning. No janky guns, no pay to win, nothing but pure prime cod years. Nothing really mattered except skill. Man I miss those nights…

Man 2019 was the goat. I'm still sad to this day that MW2-2 and 3-2 didn't seem as fun. I didn't get either of them, but 2019 was such lighting in a bottle. First time I'd enjoyed cod since BO2. Just the right amount of movement tech to keep things interesting and give you stuff to learn, but not advanced movement budget titanfall stuff. Just everything about the systems and gunplay felt so, so good. It was like when OG MW2 came out and changed the game forever. Since then, it honestly feels like most of the changes they made from 2019 into MW2 and 3 just made the game worse.
