I just had a Modern Hire interview and it consisted of 7 questions which had 4 additional questions in the one question. By then do was exhausted and not surprised that I didn’t get selected for the next round

Hello sir could you please list some good questions which I can prepare for my ModernHire interview at CERN particularly as I have only few days left to record.

Hi Voomer Few questions - Tell me about a time you failed?, Where do you see yourself in five years?, What do you consider to be your weakness?, Do you consider yourself successful? Do help out with these questions.

Someone said they typed there questions in and it wasnt recorded. Is that one of the interview styles

I can hear myself in the practice recording, but not the recording for the interview?

It was the assessment that confused me. I listened to a scenario and determined if the information was "verified" and "not verified". The customer said the information "wrong" - is that verified? or Not verified? The co that wrote the scenarios was Modern Hire.

Hi Jeanette! Without looking at the question, I can't give you a definitive answer. But from what you've written, that was an exercise where you had to analyze a lot of information (including the customers claim) and determine whether or not the information matched what you had in the system. Customers don't always tell you the truth! Good luck on your application!

Do you only have one chance to record your answer? Or can you start over if you mess up?

Hi! It really depends, so make sure to check the website of the company you are applying to for a definitive answer. As a general rule though, most companies use 30 seconds to prepare and 120 seconds to answer. Good luck on your interview!

How to answer the question, why are you leaving your present job? Moving is an option here but what about if your previous employer was going to fire you

You can either talk about how the company was being restructured or that your goals and the company's goals no longer aligned. Good luck with the interview!
