Let me tell you...at 33...all the “old fashioned” stuff my aunts and uncles talked about when I was younger...it’s come to fruit. Either with me personally or in our culture. I’m seeing it all around. I love that he tells it like it is. Trust me...I’ve squirmed in my seat too when he’s talking 😂. But truth is what we need...not pandering.

The hymen discussion is extremely problematic because the hymen is not necessarily associated with virginity (hymens can break while playing sports and some women don't have one). This has been scientifically proven to be a myth. This is also problematic because it imposes virginity only on the woman not the man. I think it is really important to stick to gospel and avoid adding to it, because it might unnecessarily turn people away from God's truth. Women: Please know this is a myth, and God's grace is sufficient!

That's what the Bible teaches straight up...our short comings or insufficiency CANNOT change what God had said in his word.

I totally agree with what you just said I think that we should strive to maintain virgins and pure but if we fall and we have to remember that God's grace covers all of us and you can be your virgin and pure but you can still have an evil heart it's about God's grace and we have to keep the message in context

No my brother this is not a myth back in Israel their were chosen people of God. You missed the message! God set the Hebrew Israelite apart from all Nations! He opened a lady womb at ninty years old and thier were eunuch people who didn't have a desire to have sex. Just serve God! Woman were bearing children fourteen years old! Different time and Ara! The blood covenant is how they got married and Jesus came from that blood line. They were disobedient that why we are lied to and stay in slavey! Black people of color!🤔🤔

Pastor, what if you try as hard as you can to give those kids everything from items to protection and guidance to the Lord and they still reject you? How do you get them to see the truth?

Dan Hulina, sorry if my message is 8 months late but I hope it can still bless you. Coming from a family where my father used to wake us up every morning for Bible study and the church was mandatory, I constantly fought against his beliefs growing up. When I finally moved out of our house for the university I felt so relieved and I just wanted to enjoy my freedom. Thank God, my father never stopped praying for me and Everytime he has the opportunity he will send me Bible scriptures. Even though he knew that I rejected my spiritual upbringing he never gave up on me, and I am so grateful to God for that because years later when I was down and depressed because my life wasn't going the way I expected and the pleasure of the world could not satisfied me anymore then I remembered his teachings; that God loves me and has a plan for my life. I was at the end of the road, and that is when I finally surrendered my life totally to God. It has been 7 years now, and I am still going strong in my relationship with God. Don't give up, just pray God for them, be there for them and everytime they encounter a difficulty just encourage them with the word of God. Stay strong in our Lord Jesus Christ.

That’s something my guy and I are talking about now. What church will we go to after we marry?😩 I go to a non/denominational church where we clap, sing, shout, dance and speak in tongues. While he attends a semi-charismatic Catholic church. My prayer is that we’ll worship together no matter what church we belong to. However, I’d love for us to be congregants of the same church ministry. We’ll see. I want to share the same home and have the same pastor and church family. I think it’d be nice.

Pastor you mentioned the hymen myth in this preaching. This is a huge issue because the hymen can be broken in many other ways that have nothing do to with sexual relations. You are imposing this unrealistic expectation on women who have kept themselves pure but will be questioned by their husband who hear this message. It’s not okay to add these expectations onto women, especially women who keep themselves pure. Please double check your facts before preaching.

I disagreed with you Pastor Jenkins concerning married couples going to separate churches because you open the door to lust, attracted to someone else to be misled that person is single then adultery sets in motion!
