What wire on the radio harness is the remote wire?

Can someone please try what happens when you plug in an Android? Could I use Android Auto if I plugged a AI box into the head unit and connected with my phone to the AI box?

you can buy a magnet bar and attach it to that metal plate with some double sided tape- that makes a magnetic phone mount

How is the sound? Putting this on my Harley, plan to add a amp to it eventually I run two speakers with a old Sony head unit now and it sounds decent I’d imagine this would be an upgrade since it’s 71 watts compared to my Sony at 55watts

If I have an external amp powering my sub and speakers do I still need to wire in the speaker wires to my harness or do I just connect the remote wire

I'm pretty sure you don't cause I wired mine on and they didn't work because I have some sort small amps on my door and a big one in the trunk and nothing worked till I wired the remote signal to the amps and they all worked (I forgot to wire that wire that sends the signal to the amps to know the radio is on)

If you have Android you have to use BT Music (Bluetooth connection) but it wont have all the same built in features as Android Auto or Apple Carplay

it's show your phone paired bluetooth with the headunit, but you may need turn on your cell phone audio&calls then you can play bluetooth music and make phone call...

Yes it let's me do all that I just wanted to be able to use Google maps but it just works with Apple phones

Not yet I have not gotten into that yet

That's disappointing not having Android Auto. Did you try using the original cable? Some charging cables don't work with media transfer.

It still didn't my phone shows android auto but nothing works but it does connect to Bluetooth like a normal radio with no android auto

Anyone know if the harness needed to install is different than what I have wired to my pioneer DEH-X9600BHS

Don’t think this has android auto. Saw it on some other forums like the Ferrari guys that confirmed it does not have android auto

Harness has wires for rear speakers like 2006+ s2k so that's an extra 4 wires dimming lights for when you turn your headlights on it dims down a bit and little stuff like that

Do you have an external amp? Did you have to wire the speaker wires to the new harness
