Modelo is 100% over priced! but it is my favorite beer! there's nothing special about it, i just like it, just wish the price was more fair because i still buy it all the time!

Are you guys able to get corona n models from Mexico? My dad says they are way different then wat we are used to in the states. Please review please.

When I go to or favorite Mariscos restaurant I always get Modelo. It;s also awesome Monday through Friday that the first three, 12 oz. cans, are only $1 a piece. If you want a chilled glass with a limon salted rim just ask for it. They will bring a fresh glass with each beer. Delicous food also. Reminds me of several places we have had Mariscos in Mazatlan.

I feel like it's a common place for stores not to check dates on beers, we have the same problem.

tea very similar but they are right in saying that the after taste is definitely different...modelo has a much better after taste...nick named the champaign of beer...I love it and I just had it for the first time 2 days ago and it is an instant fav!

it might just be because my tastes have changed and im not a light beer guy anymore, but I used to drink a lot of corona and I saw the model in my cooler from a party so I tried it and I had to look at the label and make sure it wasn't a corona. I don't see how anyone can like 1 above the other. they seem to be the same beer haha

You guys should do this test blindfolded to choose your best one, using only your taste glands

I think it would be a tie, for me. But, I'd have to go blind, to be sure.

I'm yet to try modelo but i will when my Coronas run out. One thing for sure ALWAYS buy beer in bottles. To me it taste better. Might just be me though but beer in cans seem flat and not as crisp. Be safe and don't drink and drive. Save a life don't take one. God Bless.

Never buy beer in clear bottles especially imports. They get exposed to light to easily. Cans prevents that from happening, check out our beer 101 series we talk about it more in detail.

@@kybrewreview You’re right. If you do buy bottles, you’re better off with a 12-pack with the cardboard covering. If a six the cans are better, as the six could be skunked depending on how long they’ve been sitting out.

Modelo is just a bit better. But tbh they arr the same. Modelo gets you buzzed faster tho and is crisper

I'm not a huge fan of either but the only time I had corona it was in a bottle and it was skunk it was probably the worst beer I've ever had, but I need to try it again but this time get cans.

Just had the 710ml of corona extra and it was bomb

Anyone who says that there is a clear favorite between the two is being completely biased. I drink both Modelo and Corona regularly and there is little to no difference between the two.

bros you guys are funny. Corona always wins but it tastes better with lime and salt. The bottle makes a big diffrence. The 32oz corona from mexico is 8.0 alcohol content a lot better and modelo negra taste better than especial.

We won't drink corona from a bottle, im not a fan of skunky beer. Also cans are conditioned now so you don't get any metallic flavor unless the can is damaged.

If I had to choose between the 2 it's modelo. Regular and modelo negra are my go-to.

Modelo for the fact that it dosent have that aftertaste to it also if u where to get drunk you will be tasting the corona aftertaste all day long yuck 🤢👎
