Modelling Mr. Incredible - Part 6: Head retopology - ASMR

    I think 1 extra loop on the upper lip would be better @1:12:00. It could run between of the nostrals and the nose bridge. There will be less stretching going on then i think :)

    Should the loop for the cheek run over the nose and around the mouth. There are now 2 poles at weird places i think. 1 is next to the mouth corner, the other one above the nostril towards the bridge of the nose

    PS should the eyelids and head be one mesh?

    yea it's still slow so slow can't even change angle by fifth point. Idk what to do the quad draw is working fine for the face. edit: Found solition "To fix lagging while using quad draw all you need is export high poly mesh as GPU cache. Cache > GPU Cache > Export. And that import it back - Cache > GPU Cache > Import." - trustneed and also this other guy wrote something idk what it was talking about "*Awnser* A couple years late but its still a problem. I read this and most of you don't know what exactly it is. If you go onto - Windows - Hypergraph Hierarchy - and then you need to delete the stray Nodes (green lines), then make a new phong. once done you're all set to quad draw in speed.     11:17 what button did you press to get it to turn blue. I pressed shift+left click and got grey ones and they overlap the model so it sort of messy and hard to see. edit: Figured it out son!

    Its newly implemented on Maya 2017 onwards....credits to the guys at FlippedNormals. You will have to get the later version for that feature.

    when I started to do quad draw on the eyelid 1:19:41 it got slow as shit. Idk what do help please.

    This usually happens after you spend some time working on the retopolgy mesh. Exit from QuadDraw mode, and delete the history on your mesh. Or restart Maya, that should do the trick.
